How do people that list 10 shows keep missing Breaking Bad out? It can only mean they haven't seen it, which in itself is *mind-blown!*
I thought it was shite. Tried thrice quit somewhere in season 3 thrice.

Are you talking about places number 2 and 3? Because The Shield is clearly number 1.
I gotta confess. I’ve never seen the Sheild. Then again I watched the Wire for the first time last year and I put it in the top 3 it was that good. Im going have to watch the Sheild at some point

Someone said it here but I can't remember who.

"The Shield is The Wire if The Wire was written by Joe Rogan"

This is absolutely true

It beat Arrested Development ffs. I've not seen The Shield but I can also guarantee that's wrong.

If the Shield is number 1 it's got some serious work to do in this poll.

Naw, that's a rubbish take and misses the whole point. That take is basically like the people who think Starship Troopers is pro-fascist military fetishism. Vic Mackey isn't the hero of the show, he was everything wrong with the LAPD in the 80s-90s. The show exposes how Rampart happened.

I just remember Vic kicking down doors. Doesn't help that I was stoned the whole time I watched it.

I saw the first ep, coming from The Wire which is goat level for me, after a recommendation and immediately decided I likely would hate it and feared that it possibly would be even tainting my Wire experience long term.

I watched The Shield when it first came out on TV, I recall it good but I lost interest a bit after few seasons. Need to watch it again.

The Sopranos is good, but not that good. It doesn't touch The Wire, The Leftovers or Band of Brothers.
The Leftovers? Seriously? I thought it was so cheesy, stopped watching in Season 2.

Chernobyl was only a limited series but it’s amongst the most gripping TV I’ve ever watched. Shame about GoT. Would be in the top 3 up until S5.
