Tahith Chong

Looks like a technical playmaking-winger with the added bonus of pace, strength and height. This guy and Gomez should spend the preseason with the big boys i think.

Starting to fill out at last. Won't be long now before he's up for consideration. Looking forward to it.

Best player on the pitch tonight despite the loss. Bloody exciting player this.

Needs to be given minutes in the first team. Rashford and Martial might have a fight on their hands soon to stay in the team.

Can't wait for the "Fellaini has become bloody rapid" etc etc once he gets a few chances

Considering Sanchez's age on the right wing, it is likely that Chong will get games before we consider whether getting a new proper wing or promote Chong to the first team. He is so amazing.

Goes past players with ease and is pretty strong too. Think he could step up, I'd like to see him on the bench for the seniors. He could certainly come on late on for a few minutes and affect a game.

He will be with the first team by then, he's already 18.

Surprised how well he has recovered from the injury. Wasn't it a torn ACL? Pretty sure he was out for around 9 months with it.

Looks so good. He kind of reminds me of George Best when he gets running with the ball. Probably the number 7 too though!

He’s currently the best prospect we have imo. Next season he should be getting minutes off the bench or a good loan somewhere.

If injuries permit, hell be some player. Somebody tell mourinho to watch his youtube clips asap!

Reminds me of Sane

Was thinking the same.

Based on knowing nothing about Chong but in these highlights, he reminds me more of Dembele of Spurs.

Or rather it's a mixture of the eye test and predicting his playing tendenacies and styles. Could be a combatitive box to box midfielder with technique and skill to match type.

Actually now I said that aloud, the next Pogba?!

Ok ok I went muppet too early dere..

Incredible pace and strength, intelligent passing too. Really hope we can look forward to him creeping in to the first team over the next few years.

First thought was, yikes the kid as grown!
Second thought was, how many times was he hacked down.
Third thought, quite a athlete. That size speed combo looks deadly.

Kid looks great.

Is that pace legal? And hes only going to get faster. Had to close my jaw at the end of the vid. Superb close control, change of direction, vision, defensive ability.. and our future number 7

Something about that guile and flair combined with the movement of his majestic hair...

Get him up fast!

Honestly, the first thought that came to my mind was also that he was looking more like Pogba than Sane in that video.

He's getting stronger and stronger with age and growth whilst also improving his speed, furthermore, his agility remains intact.

He's going to be some athlete to go with his obvious footballing talent.

Injuries and attitude permitting, he has the game to become a star.

He looks a very exciting prospect. I'd love if we brought the likes of him and Gomes into the first team fray ove the next couple of years. League cup/FA cup games and impact/3 zero up subs in the PL. Obviously their level needs to be good for that.

Ruud Gullit meets Leroy Sane. Hype aside looks a natural baller, wherever he ends up will definitely be Prem level that's for sure.

With the WC next year, he should be a dead cert to go to preseason. Our most promising youngster atm.

Looked very good, close control, passing and pace. Hopefully he will go to preseason and then play in some cup games next season.

Finally a proper winger from the accademy...For all the hype Gomez is getting I think this kid along with O'connor is the best of the lot.

Our own Sane !!!
