Sven Goran Eriksson has died

He dealt with it with so much dignity and positivity. RIP Sven

RIP to the man, always loved the confidence and swagger he carried himself with.
And feck Cancer, evil disease. Prayers to everyone on here dealing with cancer in our lives, be it family members or ourselves

He lived a fruitful life and that's more than enough for anyone.

Rest in peace.

Posted a very touching and beatiful farewell message couple days ago.

RIP Sven. Gone but will not be forgotten.

RIP Sven
Always seemed like one of footballs good guys. A people person. Sad to see him go

Oh that’s pretty sad, seemed like a nice man. It says that it was after a long illness. Any details? Cancer?

Those links to him becoming United boss, when SAF first announced he was retiring: I wonder how we would have got on. I liked the guy and he unfairly took the blame for England's "golden generation" not winning anything

Very sad.

From the outside at least, it seemed he at least got the chance over the past year or so to say goodbye to everyone and everyone got the chance to show him what he meant to them.

How terribly sad. Always seemed such a likeable guy, carried himself with such dignity even when he was under fire.

Good guy Sven, thanks for the memories in Serie A and England.

I thought that he had a couple of months more, if not years. Cancer is such a horrible thing, I can't even begin to fathom how it feels to be given this kind of a death warrant.

RIP, Mr. Eriksson.

Currently watching his documentary on Amazon Prime... They timed the release well sadly.

RIP
