Surveillance Draft

I'm almost certain I got it right the last time. Although I went to make the poll once and Jojo had got there one second before me.

I try though :)

That's more than decent. That left side would be a carnage.

Cavani
Ronaldinho -----------

Giggs ------------------ Robben
Simeone -- Guardiola

Lizarazu - Miranda - Gamarra - Heinrich
Buffon

:D Cheers mate. Was a bit unsure how to go about it but after watching Heinrich as a right back in the 1998 World Cup it just fell in place. After all he is right footed as well and I think he keeps the width better as a right back while from the left he likes getting inside more.

Not kept up with this at all since I went out. Shocked to see its still at the QF stage. You lot will still be playing in the new year

Will be a good foil for a left-footed winger like Robben, no doubt.

Yeah definitely. Great to see more of that Dortmund side picked apart in this draft, they tend to be overlooked a bit, by me too. Can't believe they beat that Juventus side which was packed with stars with 3-1 in the final. Vieri in particular caused a lot of problems for Kree/Sammer/Kohler and Juventus had more chances but fell on two set pieces. Rickens last goal must be one of the better CL final goals of all time though, a hard chip from 25~ meters out.

Since this is moving slower than the later years midfield two of Scholes and Carrick. Here's the first all touches compilation (to my knowledge) of Sammer on Youtube:

Cheers for posting that mate. Such a great player. Mishit a few passes there, but his fantastic tackling and general dynamism was clear to see.
