Now that the anger has subsided. Let's get this straight. There's no one out there that can fix our problems. Our only hope is to give ETH and this current batch a whole season before we reassess the situation.

We finished third last season and the squad is better this season on paper. Please stop with this nonsense that we are a midtable club

we have no right or power to assess the situation.
we are mid table team since the start of the season.
I only agree the point we should support the team at this difficult stage.

This is 4 losses in 7 games. Two of them at home. -4 goal difference.

Ajax fans stormed the pitch for 4 months of crap. United fans lie down and take shit from ownership and the football admin season after season with some lame excuse of moral high ground.

I’ll support the manager but some of the players are a shambles. I’d just change the starting 11 this season and have some youth mixed with some seniors who actually want to play.

I agree.

Maybe I'm getting old, but it's genuinely quite exhausting seeing the constant 'sack this, change this*' reactions everywhere.

*In terms of management, at least. The majority of our players are far more disposable IMO.

Ridiculous! It's not even October yet.

Agree. there's no point in thinking about changing the manager and we do have a ridiculous injury list. Stick with EtH and assess at the end of the season.

I do feel angry at the club structure and planning though. You have two successive seasons with a pretty poor goal scoring tally and our solution is to buy a kid who is one for the future and no back up striker to help him out (shades of the Martial signing in LVG's second season). They must have known scoring goals would still be a problem with this team, there's been enough evidence of it over the years.

With support do you mean constant brainlessness? Trash subs? Support undroppable trash players? Support clueless tactics?

The request is to be a bit patient. We are not in position to change the manager or players again.
We're always in a position to sack a manager. Whether we should sack Ten Hag or not, I don't really care right now. But this attitude of placing every manager on a pedestal and automatically assuming they're "the one" as long as we give them an indefinite amount of time is so outdated and delusional. He's certainly not performing to the standards that should be demanded right now

Liverpool down to 10 away at Spurs and are showing more belief and fight to get back in the game than we did at home to Palace.

They players are mentally weak, individually and as a group. There's no leadership, responsibility or plan on the pitch.

Very hard to care enough to do anything at the moment tbf.

I've never seen a big club so accepting of mediocrity. Especially one that has spent over a BILLION pounds since we had an actual winner in charge who wouldn't settle for 2nd best.

I'm not even EtH out yet because there are bigger fish that need frying, but wanting people to blindly support someone regardless of the quality they are providing to their position within the club is counterproductive.

Like I put in another thread EtH has lost 13 games in 45 in league ( for comparison Jose lost 17 in 93, LvG 17 in 76). In the 13 games lost we have conceded 38 goals and scored only 9. We have also started this season worse than any in almost 40 years and look completely clueless and devoid of any style.

He needs to be held accountable and if this continues to drag on and on he deserves to go.

I support Ten Hag because I think he's a good coach who's been asked to assume leadership over a rudderless club in disarray thanks to clueless ownership. If he had an Overmars or a proper structure here to assist him with recruitment I am positive things would be different.

You either have blind eyes or brain gone. 4 losses out of 7 is lower mid table level results. What’s wrong with you not able to realize it?
Can we become better in October? That’s different thing. I hope we can turn a corner just because I support manutd.

Why can Tottenham who were fecking playing horrible football last season play attractive, cohesive football with minimal recruitment, but we can’t?

The coaching is a major issue.

Uniteds worst start to a season in 34 years, how can anyone support that

The irony of this is that mid table club supporters have no choice but to “support the manager and players” no matter how shit they are.

And no, the anger hasn’t subsided.

I’m done supporting this group of players! Any one of them could get sold and I wouldn’t lose a moment’s sleep over it.

No. I wasted 10 years of my life believing this shit

Now I just want results. It's not time to sack ten Hag yet but if he continues to fail to deliver results this year, he gets the shaft.

I’m behind the manager, would be stupid to sack him at this point in my view.

Im angry at certain players and do expect the manager to address some issues and fed up with our run of results, but he remains the man for me.

We have to softest bunch of whimps in our fanbase. Failure is pretty much accepted now. Loser mentality throughout the club and even amongst out fans

You are right. We are not exactly midtable - probably just a tad below that!

Supporting the manager does mean through thick and thin, but it doesn’t mean it’s unconditional. I fail to see how “there is no one out there to fix us” is a valid reason to just blindly continue saying nothing about the manager.

This is a really critical moment for his tenure, he could come through this stronger in the long run or crumble quite quickly. What I do know is the vast majority of this squad have used up their “support” tokens and now need to show their quality or be gone, sharpish. We haven’t been good before injuries so it’s not a valid excuse, it’s quite clear attitudes stink and the manager would get full support from most supporters by doing something drastic, like playing the kids.

Real change won’t happen under this ownership, but sadly United are heading into I’ll just check the result at 5pm type club, it’s not worth wasting your time, money, emotions, effort, sanity etc on them.

I’m definitely supporting the manager.

The lazy entitled cnuts that you call “our players” - definitely not.

I’m happy to support ETH right now. He’s made some mistakes this season but I fully believe that he is the best manager for us. For me, it’s the players that are letting him down.

It’s just too convenient to blame our players lack of mental strength. Our problems have always been lack of ideas in creating chances.

I can't believe that anyone who has looked at our club over the last decade seriously thinks that what we need is yet more change and turmoil. Some people are suckers for punishment I guess.
