My son, who is 14, either won't shut up or is hard to get more than a grunt out of depending how recently he has been fed.

He will eventually. Only it will be when you want actual information out of him and you will get a shrug and a "Iduno" grunt. Or they just say anything because they don't want to think about what you asked. Teenagers.

Agüero rumours surfacing in Barcelona papers. Would love that but can't see it happening, he was bought for €45 million just 2 seasons ago and arguably his valuation has gone up since then - something Zubi/Rosell aren't accustomed to paying.

Perhaps Villa in the other direction to bring the price down to a more manageable figure? Would be nice but I don't see it being likely

It all depends on how much he wants to leave City. They got plenty of money so making a profit on Aguero won't be the most important thing. If he decides he's had enough and tries to force a move, he'll probably be able to do so with relative ease.

I think Neymar to Barca is pretty much nailed on though. Even if it doesn't happen this year it'll go through after World Cup. Villa could do the job for another season.

How do you figure that? Tevez has been trying to force a move for how long now, behaving in an unprofessional way that's without precedent, but to no avail.

As long as money is of no concern to City, leaving them is gonna be a nightmare for any player(unless the club wants rid), and so it should be.

That's the bed they've made.

Kun at Barcelona is more likely a dream that will simply remain just that, a dream. And I concur, I think the Neymar arrival is all but certain to happen - I'm less averse to it than in the past but still would prefer someone else...even the controversial Suarez

A few rumours linking Barcelona to Kompany, with Alexis going the other direction. Haven't seen enough of the Belgian but he ticks a lot of the right boxes for a central defender the club desperately needs

He's a very good defender to be honest, when fit he's probably one of the best in Europe. Unless he demands a move id be amazed if City sell him.

A few rumours linking Barcelona to Kompany, with Alexis going the other direction. Haven't seen enough of the Belgian but he ticks a lot of the right boxes for a central defender the club desperately needs

He's brilliant.

That would be a terrible deal for City. He prevents losses for them at times and there are much more players in Sanchez's mould that would be available and are as good/have the potential to be as good than there are CBs at the level of Kompany at the moment.

Yeh Kompany is more important than Sanchez would be. For all we know Kompany might be after a move though.

Probably means that Kompany and his dad were in a Madrid hotel on Thursday...

Yeh Kompany is more important than Sanchez would be. For all we know Kompany might be after a move though.

Yep. I think Kompany is the type of guy that if he was looking for a move it would 'come out of nowhere' type thing. He wouldn't push for a move or be selling it to the papers. He seems a fairly loyal and sensible guy.

His wife is from Manchester and he has spoken frequently about his love for the city and the club. He's going nowhere.

I'm from Manchester, and so is my wife. I love it here, but if someone from Barcelona wanted to give me a big pay rise, and the chance to work with the best people in my field, at a renowned site, I'd be on the plane before the flight crew.
