Would be nice to beat city to a signing. But would rather him come and want to play rather than because we offered more money. Can't say I've seen much of him. Isn't Gabriel Barbosa supposed to be better?I read some of his tweets after, and he says the article says that United offer double the wages, but we haven't made an official offer yet. City haven't got him yet though.
Id say they were favourites if they sign Mahrez.I am genuinely worried that AFC will sign Mahrez.
With him in their team, they would have a good chance of winning the title.
Do people never learn? They won't even win the league again with Wenger. Serial non-winners.Can't imagine a young Brazilian choosing us over City just cos we doubled his wages... Oh wait... Yes I can!
This could be a case of our name and current scattercash reputation being used to up the lads wages? Double is chancing it though if that is what his reps are up to.
No imo Gabigol isn't as big a talent as Jesus. But I have watched both a very limited number of times, perhaps asking @fontaine would be a better shout.Would be nice to beat city to a signing. He works with Sport Witness. United fan, knowledgeable guy but only relays what Brazilian press say.Who is this chappie?
Have we ever had a good Brazilian here?
Rafael?
Lol, he's hardly up there with Zico and SocratesRafael?

You cited Rafael as a "good Brazilian footballer" - when people think of that, they think of players like Zico, Socrates, Pele, Jairzinho, Neymar - not a player who hardly played for them and with only a rudimentary grasp of the offside ruleSorry mate, I don't get your point?
£6m apparently

Ah right, OKI mentioned Rafael as the only Brazilian player who was good for us, not as one of the "good" Brazilian players in general. I thought that's what Redfan94 meant, but maybe he didn't. Feck knows.
From what I remember, he was one of Liverpool's most impressive performers when they played most of their youth team in the cup games. I guess in this market £6m is a decent price. But what I find interesting is, what happens to Tyrone Mings now? And do Bournemouth fear that he may not return to the same level after coming back from injury (I guess he can play CB aswell.)Crazy fee for a young player who only has a handful of appearances so far.

I'd say the players you mentioned are classed as better than "good Brazilian players"You cited Rafael as a "good Brazilian footballer" - when people think of that, they think of players like Zico, Socrates, Pele, Jairzinho, Neymar - not a player who hardly played for them and with only a rudimentary grasp of the offside rule
Liverpool might be desperate to sell at that pointIf so, Liverpool will make a hefty profit.
I know, blew my mind too when I found out.A liar in Twitter? Surely you jest sir!

Our wages usually ensure we get very little. Teams have to match or increase salary to justify a player leaving us.I would really like to know what we could get for Jones or Lingard.
I'd be surprised if we pursue with Tuanzebe, Fosu-Mensah and Williams all coming through.

His media friends painted him that way. He comes off as smug and bitter himself than good guy. LVG so far showed class at least.Quite different cases. Gerrard played for Liverpool, who have a massive rivalry with United. Sunderland don't have that. And on top of that, I remember SAF saying this himself that United sold many players (at decent prices) to Sunderland and the fans still cheered when United didn't win. I personally don't really care about that, as it's common knowledge that everyone bar United fans hate United. And in terms of Moyes, he was frankly useless for United, but he's still a good guy, so I wish him the best.
Only if Pogba arrives, don't want to do a LVG an leave the squad thin. Wy not sell Fellaini 1st?
