But we just signed someone 6 years old that him :)

But energy and running has never been the keypoint to Ibrahimovic's play. He is a very intelligent striker, with amazing technique, amazing physical strenght and a nose for goals. Those are qualities you don't lose by aging but your speed and running capacity that goes down.

Matuidi would have been a great player for us to get 3 years ago, but now I don't really see the point in it. If we want a player with his profile, we can much better get Kanté.

Newcastle fans think he's not very consistent, like Sissoko. So on their judgement, this would be a bad signing for them.
He's a very good goal scorer but that's all. Goes missing when the going gets tough which was the case for Newcastle for most part of last season. That's why they didn't like him even though he scored around 10 goals I think.

Honestly, working for a paper like The Sun, in the sports section must be beautiful. You literally sit on your arse all day and think of what rumour to write about. You dont have to back it up with facts or anything really.

The Sun are as bad as garbage like the Express and Metro. They literally make up all their stories.

There are no release clauses in France.
But that's what the report says "release clause of 34m". Also, They aren't compulsory like in Spain, but its not like there aren't release clauses

Buyout clause is not the same as release clause
Technically different, but at the end in case of buyout, the club does pay the player to pay buyout his contract, so the flow of money is the same with an additional step, if I'm not mistaken. And the report says release clause, which is what I was pointing out

Feck. I'd love him here and I thought a bid in the €30-40 million range would have swayed Juve. He's 29, after all, and defenders rarely fetch top dollar.

Will probably just stay at Juve if bids like that are getting rejected. Shame.

plus 4 were in one game.

Would much rather keen Bastien than bring in Matuidi.

Honestly we wouldn't miss Schweinsteiger at all if we sold him. The highlight reel of last season is just a lot of pointing and sideways passing.

Matuidi and pogba in Bastian and fellaini out and we have a perfect midfield.

No idea why you would want that. Matuidi is the better player and far less chance of him spending the entire season injured.

I don't think Schweinstiger will be injured the entire season + I don't think Matuidi is a better player anymore either. His standard has dropped.
