Matuidi is definitely an upgrade but a strange signing if true. We're lacking creativity in midfield more than energy.
The end of Sneiderlin then. Probably means no Pogba either when you couple this with the fact that Jose said we're working on four and this looks like the fourth.
I would imagine it's just a rumor being pushed as he may be seen as surplus to requirements. Factor in that Jose don't see Rooney as a midfielder - and potential sales. I don't think it effects Pogba at all. Carrick will be 34/35 and I don't think he's going to age as well as Zlatan. Bastain get's knocks too...
I'll be annoyed if it's the end of Sneiderlin, he deserves another season to prove himself, he's shown he can do it in the PL.

Fellaini and Schweinsteiger would be my guess. Both are surplus. Fellaini simply not good enough, nor compatible with how we will be playing while BFS was a disappointment last season and may be a hindrance to the dressing room if reports of special treatment are to be believed.
It is just wrong that a sugardaddy club in a shit league should have such riches. Seriously annoying.

We lacked a lot of movement as well. It wasn't until Rashford came that we had players who could stretch the defence. It's been forever since we've had a midfielder who could get beyond the strikers and into the box. It's something we definitely need as well as creativity
Theres probably no such thing as 'reliable' anymore. All the journalists want to be the first with news. This whole Matuidi thing kicked off from a Goal.com article for god sake. When have you ever heard of a player flying in to a country for 'talks' if he flew in its for a medical/signing a contract.
I think only BBC seem to care about validating things before they post it as news. And I commend them for it.
All that money and the draw of Paris too, not surprised they can attract top players. Krychowiak and Veratti is just a droolworthy partnership. They'll absolutely romp the league.

I think it's just a rumour, no worries Schneiderlin will surely get another chance, Jose can't just come extend Carrick and sell one of the best defensive mids in the league one season after we bought him for quite some money. He's also very much Mourinho type player. I am 100% sure Schneiderlin will be here next season and possibly be a key player..

Fellaini was great in a 433 two seasons ago and was one of our best midfielders last season. He'd be below herrera and schweinsteiger if i had to choose who to get rid of.
He offers something no one else does. I'm not saying atart him every game, but he gives us an option.
