Television Suits

Agree with that, I also thought they won over Ava a bit too easily and wrapped that whole thing up very quickly. All it took was an "I'm sorry" from Harvey for her to drop a suit that could ruin an entire firm.

This would be a better show if there was no Mike in it. He's the weakest actor for me and the least interesting character

Nah, I think that was okay, because that's all that she wanted to hear from Harvey in first place.

Decent summer finale, but I think the first part of this season was much better than the second one.

And btw, that ending was obvious as it gets.

The first two seasons they utilised him and his 'gift' well but this season they seem to have largely ignored it.

I still find it easy watching and enjoyable TV, so it's all good.

Michelle Fairley is Irish, not sure why they had to make her sound like Cat Stark again.

That explains it. In GoT her accent is really good but in Suits, particularly this latest episode, it was atrocious. I had no idea what was going on, it completely ruined the scene where she goes to the room to threaten Harvey before her disposition. Out of nowhere she sounded like she was fighting to speak English and it really grated on me. As you can probably tell, if you're observant, like.

I feel like they're having a bit of an issue with Mike in the show. I mean, if he doesn't forget anything he's read, you'd bet he'd be the best lawyer there by now. Alternatively, he'd have dirt on Jessica or someone... or something like that. The writers are doing that convenient (but irritating) thing whereby he's superman when necessary and normal when not. His little memory flash to find those bank accounts when he slapped the files out of Cameron's hands was the first time they've used his "gift" as a mechanic in ages. You'd think if something so small would unlock an entire case, he'd have grown into a legal monster by now.

The storyline with Rachel is so utterly tedious that I use their scenes as my in-show break, checking my phone in that time.

Regarding the next bit of this season:
I hope they tidy up the Rachel storyline by breaking them up and sending her off to Stanford. I also hope the writers settle on Louis' character. One second he's the adorable rogue who's committed to his work, wants to do everything in his power to further the company and the next he's betraying Jessica to join Hardman and (potentially) holding her to ransom over Mike's secret. The show is great, one of my favourites, but over time it'll become stale and unpredictability should come from good writing and new characters (such as the English firm) as opposed to making every character an idiot, willing to cause drama on a whim).

There's so much more for them to explore between Harvey and Mike, alone, that I really hope they don't write something poor for the second half.

Final thing: If they ruin Harvey by making Scottie his Rachel I actually will stop watching the show. Penny and Leonard wrecked The Big Bang Theory, I can't have the same thing happen in this show twice over. No way.

Mike is the most boring individual character, but he's also the character that glues them all together; without him I doubt the show would have worked.

Was it a few episodes ago Mike produced a letter to Rachel and said "I got into Harvard, I'll explain later." Or am I imagining things?

Episode was ok, again a big case ends fairly quick and in the space of 2 episodes. The cliffhanger was indeed obvious, but was bound to happen sooner or later with Louis. It has gone mediocre, but I still really enjoy the dialog, that is what keeps me hooked.

He got into Harvard but then got caught cheating for other students so he was never let in.

I know that, but before the flashback episode, he showed a letter to Rachel and she read it, then said "you got into Harvard?", to which he replied "I'll explain later". Pretty sure that's what happened. I've seen no mention of it since.

Pretty sure that was shown in the flashback episode. He got in but the dean of his college blocked his getting in or something to that effect.

Yup.

Mike is definitely the worst character on this show. Hopefully he gets killed off and Louis becomes the main character.

Just got in to this show last week. Superb show. I'm half way through season 2. I've developed a completely irrational obsession with Martha Mackle (Rachel). She is just beyond incredible.

I just want Rachel to finally feck off to another city so this shit romance can stop. Its beyond boring now.

She's super hot, yeah.

Mike's storyline is becoming a bit like Dexter at the moment (minus the serial killings). Half the world seems to know his secret, yet he sails merrily along.

Yeah.. but Suits has more killing in it; that's how far Dexter has gone from it's roots.

Great programme - Watched the entire thing in the last two weeks and it had me hooked from the pilot!

Very sharp writing, and good overall entertainment. Whilst I quite liked the twists and turns of the longevity of the Ava Hessington plot-line, I hope we've seen the back of it when the series reconvenes.

Louis is good for comedy value, and whilst you want to despise him, he adds a lot to the show. Does he actually hate Harvey/Mike, and will he be unscrupulous in using the info, or does he just want to be part of the inner circle?

Yeah, the dean of his college blocked his move because of the whole "selling the maths paper" to his daughter thing. Dean lost his job and told Mike he's going to ruin Mike by letting Harvard know of the cheating etc.

Then season 4 this winter I imagine?

Are we still watching this?

I thought the first new episode was average, and I quite liked last one, even though it also had some bad parts too, but it had few of those Suits classic parts they were missing lately.

Watched it today..was decent. It was kinda obvious that louis wont bale on mike though. Wish they go back to doing some cases on an episode by episode basis rather than turning it into a soap.

Totally agree with this. That's what I loved about season one. Harvey being shit cool winning all the cases. I think the Mike thing is getting a bit farcical now. Really enjoyed the episode though.

They seem to be draggin the shit outta storylines (cases). There's nothin worse when the case is boring & uninteresting & it lasts the whole season. Yer woman outta Game of Thrones was so feckin annoying, it was so painful watchin her act & tryin to be sexy & sophisticated all the time!

That said, i quite like the show & the fine birds in it - they all walk the same though. They must have been trained to walk like catwalk models or some shit, i always piss myself at that...

Yeah, same here. If both, Mike and Harvey, aren't single again by the end of the season, I probably stop watching. It's fecking annoying and I don't care one bit about them being in a happy relationship. A few case of the week episodes inbetween the longer story plots would be amazing as well. They were brilliant at times.

Yeah, that's the thing I didn't really like either.

Not bad episode last night, finally not everything going well for them as it did in last two episodes. Next episode should be interesting judging by what they showed.
