I know of 2 members of SEF, 1 is Tufty, who I know only from forums, and I know to be a complete cnut.
The other is Fergus, I have a lot of time for Fergus, I have had many a conversation with him and the last time we communicated, he had parted company with Tufty and SEF. Fergus has since offered his assistance towards the LUHG organisation, I have passed his details on to them, as yet they have not required his help, but I am pretty sure Fergus is a good egg.
Tufty is basically a cnut, I doubt he will be showing his face around OT in the near future, he is naive at the best and a complete twat at the worst, either way, a lot of United fans are not out to forgive him.
If I were him I would tiptoe quietly into OT with a jesters hat on and a scarf obscuring my face, and even then I may opt for a pair of dark sunglasses.

Because the only people who are really going to give any money to SEF are those that follow them and read their forums etc. and why would they wait until the following week to donate money when the most logical thing is to do it there and then before they forget?
I'd expect to see the same pattern from any niche fundraising activity. A large influx of cash from the die-hards right off the bat and then once thats come in, the odd scraps here and there from gullible fans.

Come on, £3,330 in 7 days and then £20 in 16 despite several appeals in those 16 days? He obviously appeals on the Facebook page because he gets donations from that. He made an appeal for donations on the 21st on his Facebook page saying there had been £3,350 donated. 5 days later, another appeal and it's still £3,350? So not a penny was donated from the first appeal? Why appeal again then? This despite a similar appeal at the start magically drawing £3.3k. I accept donations slow down the longer a campaign goes, but that's ludicrous, and frankly I don't believe it.
He's also refused to provide the Paypal information that could so easily prove this, saying I'd just draw my own conclusions to fit my "agenda".
I'm sure the man is every bit the cnut everybody says, but what you're implying is quite a serious accusation, Feeky - you can get 5 years for that (12 months in a magistrate's court).
Not sure what verifiable Paypal information you want him to provide, but if you do suspect foul play, why not use the same channels (facebook etc) to appeal for anybody who has donated since 12th, and see if more than £20 worth of people respond?

Because that's a terribly unreliable way of doing it. I could just get a bunch of my mates to respond. I'm sure someone like him who's taking fan donations must keep some sort of record or the other he can provide.

I agree. I don´t know who the feck he is but he seems nearly as known of other United-fans as Pete Boyle. If he is anything near a cnut as you lot describe him, how the feck can he still be doin his shit? As I´ve said I don´t know him so I don´t defend him nor do I accuse him but it just feels odd that he is still within the hardcore United or atleast able to wind you up. For a start, no where near as many people know him as they pretend to do on here, most have just jumped on the band wagon. Redcafe is also not 'the hardcore united' there are a few you could describe as that but you probably won't know who they are (I'm not saying anyone on here or in this thread pretends they are either).
He is a bit of a helmet at times to be fair but I've no Idea why people who've never even seen or met him think they have to have a go just because someone else has.
Whatever he is and whatever he's done, 1 Tuffy and his passion for United is better than 40,000 day trippers sat singing feck all worrying about people treading on their megastore bag.
I know Red Cafe is not the hardcore since it´s people from all over the world discussing things in here. Before I get attacked that´s not a bad thing but hardcore to me is more or less the ones going to away-games regurarly. What do you mean I probably don´t know any? I´ve met Tony O´Neill and some others. I´m also a daytripper since I´m going to Otelul and Sunderland and nothing more this season but that is because I can´t bloody afford it.
