Gerrard's heat map.

If Gerrard wasn´t english, he would be crucified for his antics. Dispicable behaviour. I´d bet when he is a pundit he will go on and pull the moralist speech and forget his on field dirtiness

Bout time the sneaky twat got caught with something. Always getting away with the sneaky stamps and elbows. Glad he got caught this time.

Could that have been an any more gloriously perfect finale to his rivalry with United?

Let his side down. All that talk about his experience making the difference and he goes and does that. Stupid.

Oh, and

Glad the dirty cnut showed himself up. He wouldn't get back on the pitch if I was Rodgers, feck the farewell tour.

In his spare time, Steven Gerrard enjoys walking into revolving doors and back out again.

Surely that Simpsons gif is doing the rounds now?

On another note, this might be the first time the Caf cannae take the strain in a positive fashion. Epic.

 Almost a Zidane-esque end to his Premier League career. I know he'll play more games for them later in the season, but to get sent off 47 seconds into your last Liverpool-Manchester United game, basically ending your team's chances of mounting a decent comeback

Brutal. He's a bastard, and usually I tend to miss elite players when they leave the PL. He's been on the decline for the past few years.

Fare-the-well slippy.

Fair play to him for coming out and doing an interview.

Still hate the guy. Was icing on the cake that sending off

Sounds like a schoolboy going to the headmaster. cnut.

Apologised to everyone except the guy he stamped on. Just about sums him up.

Skrtel needs to be banned in the morning as well, yet another stamp. where's the outrage from the scousers that appeared for costas stamps?

He's a disgrace. So is Skrtel. Liverpool have a long tradition of producing disgraceful footballers. Suarez is their greatest achievment.

Just watching the Sky coverage again and when the ref gives the red Martin Tyler says "Oh no, look at this..."

Prick.

My word. From the slip to this.

I am going to miss these moments. I bet the bloke can't wait to get to LA.

Pretty classy interview from him. Admitted his mistake and apologized to everyone associated with Liverpool.

He never actually said the words 'I'm sorry' and was constantly looking at the ground, it always feels a little insincere to me when it is framed like that.

Classic moment though in a classic match. I was laughing my head off, it was brilliant!

I mean, he very easily could've attacked the referee and/or Herrera and made a big deal out of it like most do.

He was only 'apologising' as an act of utter self indulgence. He never said sorry to Herrera. It was a bollox 'apology' to the supporters and his teammates. Nothing classy about it.

 The gift that keeps on giving. After the Mata challenge I thought he was going to take a few people out and get away with all of it but then he was gone with in seconds. Brought tears to my eyes.

Hes parading himself in frony of skys cameras now and apologising to fans and teammates explaining it was a reaction to the "initial tackle" without a mention of apology to herrera. Hes a walking ego, and an embarrassment to his club.
