Spurs officially departed tonight

Spurs and especially Mourinho run their main players into the ground and end up without Kane for a substantial period most seasons. No rest whatsoever and this season will show their squad up once again.
In this case, the Butcher of Merseyside actually just claimed another victim, Kane should have known better

Kane getting injured was a direct result of getting clattered by Thiago. It's nothing to do with running him into the ground. It's an impact injury.
I thought it was from him challenging for a header with Henderson and landing awkwardly?

Blistering take from spurs forum

fudge this coward. Proven winner my arse, he gets his arse handed to him by Klopp every time he meets him, and it is pathetic how utterly inadequate he is.

Playing Doherty at left-back. Hell, buying Doherty in the first place, the second coming of Pascal Chimbonda, a donkey with no skill, no brains, and no pace who mystifyingly fooled Steve Hitchen and the other eminent brains our scouting department into thinking he was better than League One level. Three at the back when they were there for the taking. Throwing on Lamela and Winks when he had Vinicius, Bale and even bloody Lucas on the bench.

I am done with this bloke. if he loses that League Cup final, I want him gone the next day - the next fudging day, because his entire reign will have been one pointless mess. If he wins it, give it until May and then pull the trigger.

Nothing good will come of keeping this sad sack of brick, of that I'm convinced.

And I'm starting to think some others might need to follow him out the door too. Hugo first and foremost.

It astonishes me how people can be into football and think A) we should have kept Jose at United and B) he'd be any good anywhere else.

I have a soft spot for Jose but he's done.

It's the same cycle over and over again with diminishing returns. The Spurs squad should've suited him but he still can't get it to click anymore.

It was funny watching the post match analysis and the pundits trying to say everything except for Mourinho is a terrible football manager. Which is the reason spurs sat back all game

Ole has his flaws but I am so glad we don't have Jose as our manager anymore. Negative/boring football.

The main reason why I don’t want Spurs to get top 4 and win trophies because I want to see the day when Kane & Son finally hand in transfer request comes into reality. Really want to see them selling some of their best/top players to us like they did it with Berbatov and Carrick. Either Son or Kane will definitely improve our team to help us for title challenger. Hope the falling continues, no personal Spurs fans, it’s just I wish Man United to have Kane or Son.

Couldn't agree more. Didn't want him in the first place and was so relieved when we got rid.

I find the notion of transfer request quite funny as if that would make Levy sell his prized assets without extracting his pound of Flesh which honestly is beyond most teams due to current covid climate .Unless somebody meets Levy's valuation of Kane or Son they aren't moving next season .

Someone might want to start a Mourinho watch after the Liverpool match yesterday....

The new generation of players don't seem to respond well to the old and outdated cold hard man manager approach.

Times have changed, if you don't have a good affectionate relationship with your players, the dressing room appears to turn on you fast, thankfully for Oli, that is the one thing he does have.... that both Lampard and Mourinho seem to be missing this

Spurs has 600m debt from what I know. Not winning trophies and not getting CL spot will force levy to sell at least one of his asset due to financial issue in this covid especially knowing that Son’s contract is expired in 2023 while Kane’s contract is expired in 2024. Most of the time, it doesn’t end in a good direction when you leave it 1 year so they will be looking for to sell them before the contract reaches one year.

I hope this happens before we play them on Feb 1st!

They will finish outside of top 4 I'm sure of it, what Kane/Son are producing now of the scraps while working like maniacs in defense is not sustainable at all. They'll snowball down the table pretty quickly once these ugly tactics stop producing the results and players get fed up/lose confidence.

Apologies for calling you delusional when you were clearly, absolutely bang on. Fair play. In absolute free fall at the moment.

8th place. 1 point ahead of Villa who have 2 games I hand. Kane quite clearly playing with an ankle injury too.

Where is that post from Glaston about them being top of the league? He should get a tag line out of it.

Fair play mate, it’s becoming a rare sight seeing someone admitting they were wrong. To be honest at some point I started doubting it when they were clearly on the roll.
