Which is your favourite and why?

Family Guy is my least favourite, I don't get it. I can't decide between the other two, though.

Simpsons.

South Park I enjoy, but they're too easy made to top simpsons

I don't like family guy, I'd rather watch my super sweet sixteen.

Has to be The Simpsons for me, more so the 1990's seasons, they were pure gold.

Family Guy is good, Never really warmed to South Park

It depends. I'd say Southpark has been the most consistent of the lot. Simpsons is plain shite right now and Family Guy has gone down as well.

If you were to take all three at their peak I would pick Simpsons, then Southpark and lastly Family Guy. Having said that I like them all.

I think The Simpsons has been well below par for years now, it was great in it's day. I do prefer the humour in South Park though, so I would probably edge towards that.

Family Guy I've never laughed at.

When Cartman is on form South Park just edges it over Family Guy for me. I don't find the Simpsons funny at all.

Don't really watch South Park so for me it's: The Simpsons > Family Guy > South Park.

I should probably watch more South Park.

In terms of pure comedy, and genuine laugh out loud moments, South Park at its best is unbeatable.

Start from 1 and work your way through, you can't go far wrong.

One of my favourite episodes though is where they all get addicted to World of Warcraft, which can be found in Season 10. 'Make Love, Not Warcraft', is the name of the episode.

Brilliant episode, just thinking about it makes me laugh

I've seen that one actually, it was funny but if that's South Park at it's best then your rankings need some correcting.

I always thought Family Guy was bollocks, but i've downloaded this season 8 and actually am finding it pretty good.

The Simpsons has been cringe for years now.

I do like South Park, but I find their episodes can be quite hit and miss.

So currently Family Guy>South Park>The Simpsons

All time: The Simpsons>South Park> Family Guy.

Old Simpsons >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> South Park > Family Guy >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> New Simpsons

And by 'New Simpsons' I mean pretty much anything after season 10.

Well I found it laugh a minute. I've not seen a lot of them in a long time though, the only reason I bring it up is because I bought Season 8 of South Park t'other day and am currently re-watching. The Michael Jackson episode was also very funny.

At the moment I don't know, somewhere between South Park and Family Guy probably. But The Simpsons in it's prime was absolutely untouchable. Around series 3-7 (at a guess) were superb. There was maybe one or two episodes that I'd give a rating of lower than an 8/10. I suppose it's near impossible to sustain that level of brilliance, but it really is a pity that The Simpsons is now nothing more than a decent show.

personally i think its

Old Simpsons > South Park > Old Family guy (seasons 1-3) > Current Simpsons (post season 12) > American dad > Current Family guy

See, I would say The Simpsons, in that early Simpsons is much funnier in my opinion than the other two shows. However, its not only the case thats its shit these days, but its been "shit these days" for what, 10 years now? Where does it stand on its overall merits?

I would say Old Simpsons>South Park>Family Guy>New Simpsons, but thats a total cop out, isn't it?

South Park for pure comedy. The Simpsons for entertainment.

Family Guy is incredibly funny, but it doesn't have the nostalgia factor that The Simpsons and even South Park now has for me.

I saw an episode of The Simpsons recently, I don't know how new it was, but Marge was talking about taking away Bart's iPod or something, it was painful, its like watching an old relative try and show how hip they still are.

Oh and the guest stars, enough already with the guest stars.

If you 'get' South Park, then it is the finest example of cultural satire available. If you don't 'get' it then don't waste your time.

Why are they still persisting in making new episodes of the Simpsons? Surely Matt Groening is rich enough.

To be honest, I've not sat down and watched episode in about 5 years.

Old Simpsons > South Park > New Simpsons > Anything else > Losing to Liverpool > Family Guy

Old Simpsons > South Park > Anything else > Losing to Liverpool > New Simpsons > Family Guy

For me, the Simpsons post season 10 is an insult to what the show used to be. I can't bear Family Guy - formulaic pop culture references don't do anything for me but make me angry and irritable.

Simpsons series 1-9 are flawless. TV does not get any better. New Simpsons sucks balls, South Park is great and Family Guy is shit beyond words.
