What we need at moment by looks of it. Slot straight in with Casemiro.Think we will go ahead and panic buy him.

Or they might say. We just singed you Mount, why do you need a new starting CM?
To which the reply would be, FFP. So once again where are you going to play Amrabat if Mount is starting and so is Casemiro and Bruno. To which I'd reply...Thanks for Mount, but Mason was a replacement for Eriksen (who join the club on a free transfer last summer) Fred has left, Donny is not a footballer and McTom isn't quite good enough to win the league.
He could be another Martinez…. Or he could be another Antony but one way or another we need him in there. No more ETH Players!!
Diamond… we’ve seen Real Madrid and Barca both change to a Diamond this season. Especially Madrid who have unreal midfielders they want to fit them all in.To which the reply would be, FFP. So once again where are you going to play Amrabat if Mount is starting and so is Casemiro and Bruno.
It's probably a dereliction of duty from this point onwards to allow Ten Hag to sign anymore players who he once managed. I'd hand it over to the scouts and ask them to throw some names out instead. He could be another Martinez…. Or he could be another Antony but one way or another we need him in there.

If we sign Amrabat and play a diamond then fine. I don’t see itDiamond… we’ve seen Real Madrid and Barca both change to a Diamond this season. Especially Madrid who have unreal midfielders they want to fit them all in.
Do we even have scouts? We never use them.. we just let the managers pick who they’ve worked with. Scouts should be able to go to France or Spain and pick out some gems. Instead we’re going after know players. It's probably a dereliction of duty from this point onwards to allow Ten Hag to sign anymore players who he once managed. From what I understand they do that, but the manager gets final say because we want to 'back him' so we can ultimately blame him when it goes wrong.Do we even have scouts? I think we’ve been linked with him for quite a while. Just ETH chose to go for a Eriksen replacement before a Casemiro replacement…If he’s not the player you wanted in May he’s not the guy for us. I don’t know when our season depended on Amrabat. I’m not having it.
Fact is Mount was a stupid signing to prioritise over Amrabat. The reply would be...Football is a team game and you need more than 11 players, FFP is just an excuse, take a note from City or Chelsea and get creative!
But roleplaying aside, the Glazers don't give a shit about winning the league so it's a phone call that would end in disappointment for the manager.
It’s annoying because we literally had a very good chance of signing Camavinga before he moved to Madrid, he wanted to come here but we messed it up.From what I understand they do that, but the manager gets final say because we want to 'back him' so we can ultimately blame him when it goes wrong.

We’ve spent ridiculous amounts on the wrong players. It’s now down to the manager to get the best out of this team and find a good balance between attack and defence.Fact is Mount was a stupid signing to prioritise over Amrabat.
Reply would be, you’ve spent 450m since you became manager, do your job and win games.

Do you still not think he’ll improve us after watching both of our last games? He won’t be the crucial piece but he’ll be an option and someone good enough to shore up the midfield.Im not saying we wasn’t. I’m asking was he what you felt we needed at the end of the season.
It’s the same with Harry Kane and Oshimen. We knew what strikers we felt would improve us we got Hoijlund.
All I’m saying is people have Amrabat as some crucial piece. He wasn’t on any of our lists for improving us. So I don’t want him.
Amrabat wouldn’t replace Casemiro, he would play with himI think we’ve been linked with him for quite a while. Just ETH chose to go for a Eriksen replacement before a Casemiro replacement…
We need a player who can work in the first build up phase in midfield. The only one in the squad who can do that currently is Mainoo. Eriksen can to an extent but he has his issues (lacks legs and intensity)Maybe we are exaggerating Amrabat's potential impact somewhat, but I hope he arrives...just don't hold your breath.
That's what I don't get... If we're really in for him and have told him to be patient - loan with obligation is just common sense, if we are so hamstrung with FFP.I actually feel bad for him. He’s literally waited all summer for us to come in for him but unfortunately for him we don’t have the funds unless some of our players decide they want to leave. We should see if Fiorentina will do a loan for the season with option to buy next year…
For now he would yes. He’d be the replacement if he gets suspended or injured.Amrabat wouldn’t replace Casemiro, he would play with him
I think we approached him but he only had eyes for Madrid, and you can't blame him, they won a bunch of CL's in recent years and we've been scrapping for 6th place. It’s annoying because we literally had a very good chance of signing Camavinga before he moved to Madrid, he wanted to come here but we messed it up.

Instead of continuing to piss about.

I don’t even think Amrabat is the answer, but we should have spent the Mount money in that type of midfielder
Depends… if we really want to shore our midfield up and stop teams from walking through us then I’d be tempted to go 4-3-1-2/ 4-4-2 narrow diamond. I mean it’s not like any of our wide players are useful. Casa, Mount, Amrabat and Bruno. That way we have physicality, pressers, creativity and passers. So he’d be an Eriksen replacement and Casemiro backup…. Soo what is Mount
Probably not to be fair. Bissouma was insane today. It’s a question we’ll never know the answer to though. I think he’d have helped us be more solid though. We need better mate. Real Madrid have Camavinga, Tchouameni just to name two. I’m not raising my chest because we will have Casemiro and Amrabat. I mean would he have performed better than Boussuma today? I don’t have any evidence he would.
Did that really happen? It’s annoying because we literally had a very good chance of signing Camavinga before he moved to Madrid, he wanted to come here but we messed it up.

100%It's not about him solving all of our problems or bring an answer but a quality mid who can play with Casemiro or instead and make our midfield a bit more harder to get pass by. What's all this drama about him solving everything or being an answer to our problems stuff about.
I know we was linked with him for the majority of that window but nothing came of it. Then he went to MadridDid that really happen?
