Sneijder or Arteta

Sneijder, defo. excellent player, basically does the job that Scholes does for us, I've neveronce seen Arteta switch the play which is what scholes does so well. Sneijder's rande of passing is what makes him better, as well as the goals and assists he gets.. can't see why Arteta would be a good addition at all really.

really? I thought he started the season well, scoring a few goals and doing a good job as their playmaker, but I thought he started fading as the season went on and overall didn´t have such a special season. I´d say Arteta´s been better.

Neither would be a necessary signing for us though.
 
Sneijder for me. I've watched a decent amount of Madrid games this season as one my best mates is a fan of them and man can he play. Perfect going forward, is a monster at set pieces, moves all around the pitch and sets up easy goals. But he wont be leaving Madrid anytime soon.

I've only watched a decent amount of matches, but from every single match that I did see.... he is incredible at set pieces, his free kicks are so accurate! I think he scored quite a bit of goals from set pieces this season.
 
Ha Ha Im a thick cnut, never noticed this thread started last year!!! I think Sneijder is the better player by some distance. Im not sure he'd be as good in england as he is in spain. He was on fire at the start of this season at a level Ive yet to see from Arteta, he also scores alot more.

He's always been a quality player, always looked the bollocks at Ajax.

Would of loved to have seen him in the Premiership.
 
He resembled a younger Scholes tonight. Was a bit perplexed by the amount of money Madrid spent on him but he really does look a class act.

Just shows how clueless you are, you may watch a lot of football but you just don't understand the game. The technique Sneijder demonstrated tonight was unbelievable, first touch was pefect, set himself up for shots so well even after recieving the ball at awkward angles, brilliant passing, quick feet, you couldn't ask for more in a creative midfielder. If you really think Sneijder only than Arteta at "shooting and free kicks" you haven't a clue. I think he could confirm himself as the best midfielder in the world in this tournament, who looks better than him?

After watching the Netherlands v. Italy, have to say Sneijder on this one. Looked very classy during that game.
 
Has been class all season for Madrid. Reminded alot about Scholes to me because he actually can't tackle. If I'm not mistaken he had more yellows than Diarra and Guti. Worked his socks off every match and hardly lost the ball. One of Madrids best buys. So Sneijder to me. Arteta looks class but is a class less than Sneijder.

You are a clear dumb ass that's what. Arteta is far better on the ball than Sneijder. That makes him technically better. It's not even debatable.

What's also not debatable is the fact I never said any where that Sneijder's technique is rubbish. Or called him a shit player or worse than Arteta. Like you are clearly trying to imply.

Technique is not solely based on running with the ball or dribbling, it involves passing, shooting etc. Arteta doesn't have a far better technique, I'd actually say that Sneijder is more gifted.
 
Sneijder raped the world champions last night.

Never seen Arteta put in as good a performance as that.

I never ever said it was. so I fail to see why you mention that. Arteta simply does almost everything with a ball with more finesse than Sneijder can muster. Sneijder only beats him in shooting(accuracy) and set piece taking. But abilities like passing, first touch, dribbling, tackling, vision and heading are all better in the Spaniard. Of this I have no doubt whatsover. It's just such a crime that is skills are only on display at a mere Everton and he can't get a look in for Spain. Because if he was regularly on a a similar stage to Sneijder no one on here would dare call Sneijder superior to him.

Then you'd be going too far. Because Sneijder even though he is gifted isn't more gifted than Arteta. That should be obvious.
