I like both of them, but I'd say Arteta has looked a real class act, I haven't watched Sneijder play in ages so it'd be Arteta for me. Really creative and tidy in possession, scores goals and has fanastic versatility. Same can easily be said for Sneijder, I think Arteta has an edge in terms of passing and inventiveness though

Snijder Just, can guarantee 10 extra goals per season just from set pieces alone gets assist and (correct me if i'm wrong) is slightly younger.
Arteta, as I don't fancy Sneijder as Scholes replacement at all. Nevertheless, I'm also afraid that Arteta isn't anywhere near this level but a bit of learning at Old Trafford could serve him well and develop him into a really fine midfielder.

I'd take Arteta purely because he's already proven himself in the PL. Think he'd also be a bit more solid defensively actually.
I don't know why Premiership experience should be a factor.

Arteta is quality. Don't know much about Sneijder. We won't sign either.
Arteta wold bring quality delivery from the flanks, which would be an excellent addition to the squad.
Arteta's not bad, but he'd want to piss of to Spain at the first sight of a straw donkey. Even if he's only gonna be a squad player I wouldn't want that kind of unsettling influence in the dressing room.

He played briefly in Spain before returning to Britain, I don't see why he'd automatically jump at the chance of moving back there

No we're are not. No way in hell Sneijder is more technically gifted. He is just way better at shooting and free kicks. The two most underated midfielders in Europe imo.
