PS voted RT. Akash voted skizzo.

@Mani You are playing the draft ffs. Vote. Your vote will decide the game.

I really can't pick between the 2. Two good but flawed teams...

You haven't voted either?

People are using randomizers ffs NM, make a decision and vote, only fair for the managers who have put the effort in.

Ok it's 1-1.

@MJJ @Mani @NM can vote and that way one team will win 3-2.

That's probably the fairest way.

(Unless they vote for Skizzo :nervous:)
Getting 3 more votes might be a tough ask LeChuck, best we can hope for is the next vote. If we do a best of 5 for this game, we have to do a best of 5 for all other tied games in this draft which might not be possible.

Too close to call mate. But anyway we need to choose one.Skizzo batting slightly better and again batting first had its merits. Going with skizzo.
Sorry RT and Lechuck.

@Skizzo wins it then. Congrats mate. Didn't say it earlier so as to not influence the next voter but MGs vote shouldn't counted anyways.

Completely off topic and I don't care...

@Ijazz17 @Skizzo @SirAF @FC Ronaldo - viva.

Viva!

You never quite know what to expect when you wake up and see 8 notifications. Glad I wasn't around for all that last minute drama

Good game @RedTiger @LeChuck (or is it @Varun :p )

Thanks for all the discussions and advice too everyone. Got some serious weaknesses to look at, so we'll see how that goes :nervous:

sorry guys, just saw this. It's over anyways

Congratulations @Skizzo twas a fine game of imaginary cricket:) next time I'll write the bestest profiles ever, just you watch! :D

Probably shouldn't mention this, but when I was researching my profiles, I came across some rather damning stats.

Look at your bowlers records against my openers :nervous: that's what I alluded to in my OP about "a lot being made about your bowlers vs my batsmen" I think both of them faced bowlers here who had gotten them out the most times.

Ffs:lol: that was the one bloody stat I forgot to get!

Mate, I kept on meaning to post the bowlers records in England but the conversation unfortunately was stuck on our batsmen.

I'm ok with that :p

I think if you batted first, my team would have faced the same criticisms you did. I dont have a chaser or a deep batting team, so would have struggled to catch you. This match was probably decided by the coin toss.

It's always stuck on batsmen. Just look at the NM vs EAP game.

Honestly, that's the problem with cricket in real life. Sometimes you already know the winner just by knowing the toss winner.

Match up stats mean a lot to me. Love to see things like a bowler having a particular batsman's number. Pity.

Yeah, just like a lot of the test match discussions came down to the bowling units, for the ODIs its revolved around the batsmen. Not sure how justified either of those perspectives are.

Let it sink in... Sanath and Gayle have beaten Amla and Gilchrist
:(. I know. Two absolute greats gone.

Ffs, put up our thread already. Our write-up is full of that. :D

I think it is to be fair. Tests matches are a battle of endurance and concentration. It's difficult for a bowler to come running in 20-30 yards for like 20-40 overs in a game and still be expected to take wickets with regularity.
In the same way, in ODI's, batsmen have to be absolute on top with their shot selection and decision making. A bowler may get away with a bad bowl, but a good chance a batsmen won't get away with a bad shot.
