Six Nations

I'm glad I don't like rugby.

Fantastic match yesterday and a great advert for rugby. Hopefully this will improve the game in Ireland and lead more people to play it. Well done lads.

O'Connell is a fecking monster. What a player.

I think I went through every emotion possible yesterday, but seeing this makes it all worthwhile -

Team P W D L F A PTS

It was a great game congratulations to Ireland fully deserved. Not too bad for England in the end might have done better if it wasn't for the pathetic discipline and lack of confidence. England did finish second, joint-highest point scorers, they scored the most tries (16) and had the best defence.

My brother just text me. He just beat Rory Best in a drinking competition in Coppers. Some of the lads are there and are balloobas!! Fair play to them.

Delighted over the victory. I nearly shat myself at the last penalty. Glad to see it dip under the bar. It was fully deserved. They only got points from penalties and a dropkick. O garas winner was beautiful. On rte the camera footage for it was classic.

It'll be tight anyway.

couldn't get much tighter than that. game changing kick in the final seconds...

unfreakingbelievable! still find it hard to believe it was 61 years since the last one. helped a bit in making me forget about the Utd game for a while too.

It was a great game, and I'm not really a rugby fan.

Great commentary, you can just hear the sheer happiness in his voice....

ah c'mon out of it. twas a great moment in Irish rugby for all Irish people to celebrate. nothing wrong with a bit of good news, especially these days.

Best day for Irish rugby in a feck of a long time, don't get me wrong, but as usual, many new rugby fans seem to have crawled out of the woodwork.

Aye, I never seen a pub so full of people who didn't know what they were watching/screaming at.

It all really depends on where you go. I'd normally go to a pub in Clontarf which is rugby orientated. Most do actually know what they are talking about. Saying that, I was working in Ballyfermot that night and I did not see one person with a rugby jersey on.
