I mean, I have no idea what it takes to receive this honour but this seems really, really weird to me as a foreigner. I wouldn't want Southgate in charge of a football team I'm rooting for. Never understood why England wasted a golden generation on him and now he gets knighted for that.

Fair enough but unless you elaborate then I am not sure what you are driving at. I would have said he was a very good person based on so many of the things he has done with his life. He is certainly more deserving that Sir Chinny Waistcoat and his serial failures.
