I mean, I have no idea what it takes to receive this honour but this seems really, really weird to me as a foreigner. I wouldn't want Southgate in charge of a football team I'm rooting for. Never understood why England wasted a golden generation on him and now he gets knighted for that.

They should rather knight the people who are responsible for England producing one supremely gifted talent after the other and not the one holding them back

Fair enough but unless you elaborate then I am not sure what you are driving at. I would have said he was a very good person based on so many of the things he has done with his life. He is certainly more deserving that Sir Chinny Waistcoat and his serial failures.
