Signing creative players

Not about who would suit this position per se, but who we realistically could sign and with which manager. Transfer talk for me seems a bit weird when I feel/hope our manager is going to get the chop
I'm basing this one LVG being gone which he will be when the season ends.
Then it depends on what kind of Players Jose or Giggsy want. You can bet they won't be the same though
He'd be my choice personally, and he's not as unrealistic as some of the other names touted as well.
I haven't seen anything of Neves, Tielemans or Saul but a lot seem impressed with them.
Yeah he's the best central midfielder under 20 in europe in my opinion, impressed with Porto in europe as well and became the youngest captain in CL history. Going to be a top player I have no doubts. Tielemans is having a difficult season but he's obviously still young and talented. I rate Saul but I personally wouldn't get him as we already have Schneiderlin and I wouldn't say creativity is Saul's main forte.
A creative deep lying playmaker who can also run and tackle would be great. Someone to actually dictate the game for us and play quality passes forward.

We have been talking about wingers like Mahrez/Sane/Dembele. Or strikers such as Ibra/Lukaku/Kane. However, in the #10 position we need someone who can bring the best of the players around them.
It doesn't matter if we have a good front of 3 with Fellaini behind them, Mata making slow the counter attack or Rooney misplacing passes. We need an Ozil type of player.
So, which player would you sign as CAM?

Actually Verratti exists but he isn't for sale.
I'm not saying one as good as either of those, let alone some super hybrid. I just mean a quality playmaker who has an engine as well and isn't useless defensively, these players do exist
Gundogan would be absolutely perfect for us, and I think his Dortmund future is in doubt.
That's sounds to me like a Gerrard type of player.
Scholes suggested Modric, Ferguson likes Kante, Gundogan is a fan favorite and we have been linked with Renato Sanches. So maybe one of them could be a good option, because they would add energy to our midfield.
I don't think we'll need as much surgery as we think, should we revert back to a counter-attacking style. It's our possession based game which is causing us the most headaches. If LVG stays it won't matter whether we get Isco, Gotze or whoever, they need space to work with.
We need an entire new attack. Only Martial should be worthy of being anywhere near a starting place at club like United.

People are avoiding this position as no one believes Rooney will be sold and it would also mean canning Mata while making Herrera's future uncertain.
I'd say it's 99.9% likely he'll leave this summer. He's made it abundantly clear though that he sees himself at a club like Barca. Contrary to what BILD and other BS media wrote, money is not his main driver. I can see him also falling for an offer from Pep because it's Pep.
That sort of player is no longer available after Texeirra fecked of to China but with someone willing to give them a consistent run I think Januzaj and Pereira could share the role with Rooney. Mata and Fellaini need to do one.
That would be rather shit if he went to City. Wonderful player. If we don't sign him hopefully he goes to Spain.
I have to say I don't see that Barcelona would be in for him, and if reports are true that the meeting his agent (who happens to be his uncle) scheduled with Begiristain was initiated by Gündogan's agent and not City, he may not be their main target. And I wouldn't be the slightest surprised if he doesn't find a club on the elite level he's after (basically the situation he's been in for two consecutive summers), he'd want to renew with BVB for another year.
If we sign players like Griezmann, James, Dembele, Mahrez... we would create more opportunities for our strikers. The problem is that I can see Rooney playing as #10 if we sign a new striker.
Besides Mata, we don't have too many creative players. I believe that Memphis is more a finisher than a creator.

If Rooney stays he'll play until Martial forces him to the bench IMO and is much better off being used as a #9 than attempting to play him deeper with his inability to beat a man and lack of first touch. So I think we really need a good AM in, not a #10 but a player like Pogba or De Bruyne.

I dont think you can say we lack creativity when every Attacking player seems to go out of form under LVG. I mean, we had ADM last year, we all know the passing ability of Mata, and we did see last season that Herrera can make a side much more attack minded which makes us score more.
The problem IMO is the lack of cohesion in attacking movement. We use 2 defensive minded CMs generally, and add to tat one of our wingers is a bit more on hard work side than the flairy winger. Mata needs people running around him and he needs a bit of space for himself. With 2 CMs staying back, Lingard not always being an option, Martial being closely marked by atleast 1 and sometimes 2 players, Mata does have 1 option.

If we don't get into the Champions League then our choices certainly diminish to an extent.
Mkhitaryan would be a damn good buy for us in that role and he's coming into the last year of his contract, but his agent is Raiola.
Mkhitaryan's shooting/finishing is horrible though, misses quite a lot of simple chances, however a very creative player
I think Mkhitarayan is a good shout and probably attainable.
That really was only last season when BVB were horrendous. He's been prolific in terms of goals and assists every other season.
haven't seen a lot of him, but in the 8-10 games I did see, his finishing was very average

He had a blip for a period at Dortmund but he's got 20 goals this season.
