They have a good team, probably (still) the best in Italy. But there are different kinds of "good". Inter are an experienced side, playing a settled system and coached by a manager who has found the right balance between pragmatism and idealism. They have been the standard-setters in Serie A for quite a while. But they are also an aged team that simply doesn't have the legs to compete on all fronts. They look knackered after the 60th minute of their games. It certainly doesn't help that their main rivals for the title have been playing once a week throughout the season and are managed by someone who knows how to get wins in that league better than anyone else. If they win the title, it will just move the discussion about the needed overhaul a year down the line. Whether they can afford it or it's this team's final hooray, should they win it, it remains to be seen.
IMO they have easily the best team in Italy, the most resources and they're not in a transition period. With many experienced and established players they're aiming at the trophies right now, not in 2-3 years, and they should be judged based on this. If they end up this season trophyless even the CL semi/final won't mean it's a good year, they should be doing much better considering their advantage over other Italian teams and the strength of their squad. Just one title in the last 3 years and if they fail to defend the scudetto I think some questions have to be asked. They have a good team, probably (still) the best in Italy. Inter just don't have a particularly good team. Darmian, Mkhitaryan and Taremi started for them the other night.....
they don't have the most resources, if italian football didn't look the other way, cover its ears and go "na na na na na" to avoid having to actually look at their accounts and enforce its financial rules, chances are they might have gone bankrupt by nowIMO they have easily the best team in Italy, the most resources and they're not in a transition period.
If they fail to win the league that would be 1 league title in 4 for years for the demon, having by far the league's best team in 3 of those 4 years. He's done an objectively great job, but yeah, questions would need to be asked indeedJust one title in the last 3 years and if they fail to defend the scudetto I think some questions have to be asked.
Yeah that’s what I also meant by resources in the Italian context.they don't have the most resources, if italian football didn't look the other way, cover its ears and go "na na na na na" to avoid having to actually look at their accounts and enforce its financial rules, chances are they might have gone bankrupt by now
They're still signing taremi because he's on a free with relatively low wages thoughYeah that’s what I also meant by resources in the Italian context.
Advantage Napoli in my opinion.
Between Bologna away, Roma and Lazio at home, and Torino away, I see Inter dropping 4pts. Napoli can win out with their schedule, even if not convincingly
Already dropped 3. I think they drop another 2 pts at home against Roma.
I think they’ll beat Lazio convincingly.
Inter is in Madrid's road...it is starting to look like CL or bust.
PD: Soule it's staring to mature and to be a lor more consistent now in a bigger club, very technical and crafty player that if he adds a good goaslcoring rate can become a very good player. Maybe Juve let him go to soon.
They both areFabregas vs Vieira yesterday. It seems like Cesc is doing a good job from the outside looking in.

Both Wenger midfielders are smart coaches... Fabregas is doing very well right from the start of his career. Starting in lower division is not an easy path, you could get stuck there and never make it to the top flight.Fabregas vs Vieira yesterday. Ranieri is in charge of Roma. Owners basically turned the entire club over to him. I think he *wants* to step down, because before Roma desperately begged him to come save them he had RETIRED, but if he doesn't find someone he thinks can do better than him he might keep himself in the job for the time beingRanieri's Roma are 18 games unbeaten. He's still got the magic touch but I think he will step down at the end of the season. Cesc Fàbregas is hot favourire to take over from Ranieri at the end of the season.

If Conte pulls off this with Napoli, with all the issues with Kveca and Oshimen, arguably their two best players from the previous title winning season, it'll be a a title winning season for the ages.
Also would be delighted for McTominay.
If any manager can pull it off it's Conte he's one of the best managers around. But the league ain't won yet.
And that is, if Inter win all of their games, and they are pretty much running on fumes.League isn’t won but I don’t see Conte letting the team allow this lead slip at this critical juncture of the season.
In the 4 games left Napoli would have to lose one to bring the one game play off back into play.
At worst they may draw one of their away game against either Leece or Parma, but I don’t see them drawing both. They will also win their home games at the Maradona.
This title is almost wrapped up in my humble opinion.
