We paid more for Luke Shaw, 6 years ago, and now 23m is suddenly too much??
Guessing 20m for Telles would also be too much following this logic
He’s Real Madrid’s third choice left back FFS, a side City handled with ease. He got 4 assists in La Ligt last season, the same number as AWB. How much do you want to pay for him?
£23m is fair is it not?

He would be better for less, especially as Real are insisting on a buy back.
Not if its essentially a glorified loan deal, which is what it will be if they get their way with a buy back clause.
Man get out of here with that crap. Go jerk off to them on their forum. The biggest club in the world in the majority of players' eyes? Which they are? That's the reason we lost Ruud to Madrid. He even had a Real Madrid release clause put in, when he renewed his contract with us. Gill and SAF didn't seem to be bothered, since the fee was high. If the same goes for Reguilon, that the release fee is high and profitable, I say we go for him.
Ha. Wouldn't surprise me to be honest. Just flog him to Inter so we have some more money to spend before it's too late.Roma are probably trying to save as much money as possible from his weekly wages and sign him just before their season kicks off this weekend.
Onda Cero claim it's close
I answered the question: Who do they think they are, by proposing they may think of themselves as the biggest club in most players’ eyes. Which I think is the case - that most players view RM as the paragon in world football. Nowhere did I make that my opinion.Man get out of here with that crap. Go jerk off to them on their forum.

Don't forget a declining Bale tooI said ages ago I thought this summer would be a repeat of 2018
GK 2018 Grant / 2020 Henderson
CM 2018 Fred / 2020 VDB
FB 2018 Dalot / 2020 Ruguilon
Failed to build on a 2nd place finish in 2018 and we'll fail to build on a 3rd place finish now
Madrid fans say the journo who claimed it for them, Edu Pidal, is quite well connected to the club and reliable. Are they reliable?
Are you old enough to remember the last 12 months RVN was at United?
We didn’t lose RVN to Real, we actively wanted him gone, anywhere. I loved RVN, but he had lost his place at the club, and he was even dropped for the League Cup Final. We actually sold him for a low fee given his record, and the fact he was still a good striker, just Fergie needed him to be sold.
No doubt Real are a big club. You would have been far better using Ronaldo as an example, instead you have just highlighted how we have used Real as an outlet to get rid of players we didn’t want, including RVN, Heinz and Hernandez.
This is what we should be doing if we are not willing to meet Dortmund's valuation. Enough dithering around Sancho. This is happening. Far too much smoke not to. If we are spending the Sancho money, i hope we do it on Thiago and Dayot as well. No to Bale

I know we sold him willingly. But I’m focusing on Ruud’s demands at his contract renewal - years before it went sour. SAF writes in his autobiography that already after his second season - I assume that was in the summer of 03 - we’d just won the league, and Ruud wanted a RM clause, which became a reality. It landed on £35mil.
The fact that Ruud wanted a specific RM-clause tells me - that in a lot of players’ eyes, RM is the biggest club in the world. I disagree - but I think that is pretty clear by how many players RM have captured from enormously big clubs.
Yes it would, definately. Albeit too slow in market as always.Reguilon, Thiago, VBD, Upamecano would be a pretty excellent window. We'd still have that right wing issue, but I guess that just means more games for Greenwood.
Excellent and sadly unrealistic. Upamecano is pretty much confirmed to be staying for another year and I can't see us going for Thiago on top of VdB.Reguilon, Thiago, VBD, Upamecano would be a pretty excellent window. So for anybody who watched Sevilla last season what does he bring to the team if he does sign? In today's market seems a worthwhile risk at c.£30m.
