Deserved to equalize by having a bit more possession and approaching the final 3rd a couple of times (without there being a real chance, but a couple of good low chance efforts), but ignoring Giroud hitting the post on a 1v1, Mbappe's 1v1, Giroud missing the net from the middle of the box on a free shot....
There's different definitions to "deserve to score", but Morocco certainly have not done enough to score. They've created no real chance, despite France pretty much inviting them on constantly.

That is absolutely not true. Croatia produced the best 45 minutes in the whole tournament (even better then against Argentina and England), had 7-1 shots on target and battered France who crossed the halfway point twice. Griezmann to dive for a freekick (which got deflected) and dubious handball to end the first half.
Game is played for 90 minutes and France were deservedly winners in the end. But, everything that happen in the first half + Croatia coming on the back of 3 games with extra time played it's part. The final was very good, but also a story of what if... considering the first half.
And Morocco is playing a good game now. People are strange bunch, upsets are great well, untill we don't want them anymore and give us a festival of football like Argentina - Germany in 1990 or Brazil - Italy in 1994 and so on...
