Scouting report: Sondre Ørjasæter. Sarpsbors 08 & Norway. A exciting LW and a player to watch out. On page 6

with Lens. Friendly match at Old Trafford 05.Agugust.2023. The last match of preseason before the season start.

Kevin Danso is a option to Kim Min Jae.

Harry Maguire will still be on the bench for United or leaving. Because no manager are benching the team captain game after game last season. No saying much, but if a manager still benching you. You know you have been fall down the pecking order.

And with Varane often injury.

United and Ten Hag need a new top CB. Clearly.

Then Kim Min Jae and Kevin Danso are two top CB options right now. Beside the Croation CB Joško Gvardiol and the upcoming Portugal Antonio Silva.

Those are 4 CB options that i am 100 % sure will strenght and improve United CB options.

It's right to focus on the build up and attack. But a rock solid win you the biggest trophies. The hard to beat factor. Just look at Chelsea. Without Kante and Rudiger. Chelsea totally collapsed.

It's all about balance. Your team can't be to open and playing high line. Without super quick CB, who are good one on one. It's a reason why a player is calling a Defender. Their main job is to protect and defend your goal. And i expect all CB playing for top clubs around. At that level, not Sunday pub football. Shall have a good and approve enough ball control to deliver the ball from A to B.

The art of Defending and main job to defend are your highest priorities.

So what shall you do with the deep laying playmaker CM. That are theirs main job. Having a top playmaking CM. Who come deep and dictate and spread the ball around. Is the main key how good a team build up theirs attack.
Defend focus, special CBs. Shall focus to protect your goal. Against top teams. United are not dominating most of the time. So here come CB's defend ability to focus.

Reason why back in time Chelsea with Kante and Rudiger won the champion league

Arsenal invisible team and France Nation team with Desailly, Thuram, Vieira. They combine the skill with the physical supreme ability.

So every team shall both focus and stregth the offensive and defensive. To become balance and complete as a team.

Hold me closer, Kevin Danso. Count the headlights on the highway.

with Lens. Friendly match at Old Trafford 05.Agugust.2023. The last match of preseason before the season start.

Kevin Danso is a option to Kim Min Jae.
Just out of curiosity: do you actually watch matches across leagues at the youth and senior levels for your scouting? Or do you, like, start from FM, identify players there and then follow them in real life? Cause there's so much football out there, it's never-ending.

He is a really good all round cm playing for Monaco at this moment. Let us take a closer look at him.

Name : Mohamed Camara
Date of birth: 06.Jan.2000
Citizenship: Mali
Position: All round CM
Current team: Monaco
Prefer foot : Right
Current market value: 30 mill €

Description:
Like i said Camara is a all round CM. With all round i mean he is equal good both in the defensive and the offensive, the build up.
Without the ball he is aggressive. Goes in with the tackle with punch.
He is really quick in the first metres = really quick acceleration. It makes him good 1 against one in the defensive.
With the ball at his feet. Beside really quick acceleration and low and strong gravity. It is really difficult to take the ball from him. He is good to use his strong gravity to shield the ball and get and pass easily opponent players from central midfield area.
He is quick and good in the transition. With a precise pass to the attacking players or with his quick run forward with the ball.

Now his description in visual :

Current football level and rating:
I think his current level is on Moises Caicedo level. He is on champion league level for a top 4 team from premier league. I think he is as good as Thomas Partey and Declan Rice. Those all round cm players. A very good level. Under the top and world class level of CM. Compare to the level of CM in football history after 1990.

His football stats :
For those who are more interest in his football stats. A link below:

Mohamed Camara Stats - Goals, xG, Assists & xA | FootyStats

Comparison :

Camara is really similar to Moises Caicedo from Brazil. With the all round cm ability. Really good in all aspects of a cm player.
One year younger than Camara. Borned in 2001.

The difference is that Caicedo has get a chance to play in premier league. Get a chance to test his ability in premier league. Adapt and get use to the pace and intensity of the premier league. While Camara has only first full season the france ligue 2022/23.
There are no big difference in football abilities. The pace/acceleration. Interception and football skill abilities.
So i think and believe that Camara is on a really high football level right now.

Moises Caicedo went to Chelsea for 116 mill euros. And at this moment. His value according to :

Mohamed Camara - Player profile 23/24 | Transfermarkt

Is at 30 mill euros. So if some top clubs that can get him for around 40-50 mill euros include add ons. I believe can turn out to be a good deal. Value for money.

Sum up and conclusion :
Like i said above. I think and believe Camara is on the level of many of premier league all round cm players. Like Caicedo, Rice and Partey. Not super good and specialist creative cm player neither only a good attack breaker. Not a specialist DM. But a really good all round CM that hold his positon cm. Control and dictate the ball and cm area.

So with that i think Camara is ready to take up to the next and last step and level of football. Join the biggest club in Europe. If he keeps working hard, have right focus and keep his feets on the ground. Develop and become a better player than right now. I think it just a matter of time a champion league club from a top 4/5 leagues knocking the door.

A CM player that has really quick acceleration and strong gravity. Is ability i demand and require to reach the top level of CM player category. It will make you good one on one defensive and make you really hard and difficult to take the ball from.
Like Stanislav Lobotka from Napoli. Only 1, 70 m tall. Really difficult to take the ball from.
A taller version his Patrick Viera. The world class and top level of a all round cm. Super strong and quick in the first metres.

So yes. If a champion league team from premier league or from others top 4/5 league in the search for a cm player that is both good to break up attack/interceptions, but still good and precise to start quick build up and transition.

Mohamed Camara is a really good all round CM player that i will recommend. He caught mine eyes before he joined Monaco. While he was still playing for Red Bull Salzburg. And he has keep his level playing for Monaco last season. A player that sit in cm area, helping the team to break up attack and start quick transition and build up.
I used to follow and watch Red Bull Salzburg in champion league. And with his really quick speed and acceleration. With and without the ball. He has pace in his body. He will easily caught your eyes. So i keep tabs on him.
I do rate him. If not equal as good as Caicedo from Chelsea. That not far from that level.

Today i will report and take a closer look of Moussa Diaby. The french and Bayer Leverkusen RW and wide player. I have scouted this player for the last year. I think as a RW he is on a really high level. Which made him valued at 60 mill euros. On transfermarkt. Not small money playing not for the biggest clubs in Europe.
And lately he has been strong linked to Newcastle.

https://www.skysports.com/football/...ested-in-bayer-leverkusen-winger-moussa-diaby

Now, we take a closer look at how he is as a football player:

Name : Moussa Diaby
Date of birth : 07.07.1999
Citizenship: France
Best position: RW
Current team: Bayer Leverkusen
Prefer foot : Left. But his right foot is good too. Include the finish ability with right foot.
Current market value: 60 mill euros

+ Description: Moussa Diaby is really quick. With and without the ball. Special with the ball. And he has really good ball control, in close space and over long distance. Top ball control, skill and flair.
100 % determination in everything he is doing with the ball.
Direct and straightforward RW and player. At this current moment and level. He has a high sharp level when it come to finish skill and ability.
He is best on left foot. But i have seen he has score many goals with his right foot too.
Overall a really high level of basic ball skill. Really close to the top level.

First a video from Diaby back in PSG time. 2018/19. To see how he has develop as football player:

At that time. I think he has everything i look in a RW and wide player. He easily pass players with top ball control and flair.

Video from last season:

The same Diaby. Always top speed and 100 % determination when has the ball. Lesser more raw and more mature. Not much more i will ask for as RW and attacking player. The consistent level is really high too. The link up with his teammates is really good too.
Everything in the videos are why we are seeing he has a really high market value, 60 mill euros.

+ Future prediction:
Newcastle has been linked with him. And Bayer Leverkusen is in champion league this season. And i believe Diaby is good enough as a regular starter for any top clubs in Premier league and Europe top clubs.
If not Newcastle. I think and believe it is just a matter of time one of the biggest clubs in Europe will buy him.

+Comparisions : Other RW that is not playing for the biggest clubs in Europe out there i will compare to Diaby is:

Antony, Ajax. 24.02.2000. MV: 35 mill euros

Leon Bailey, Aston Villa. 09.08.1997. MV: 25 mill euros

I see and agree with transfermarkt.com that they rate and set Moussa Diaby market value higher than Antony and Bailey.
At this moment and on theirs current level. As a full packet as a attacking football player. Diaby is on a higher level. On higher level here. I will point on the "end product " skill and ability. And at 60 mill euros market value. I will not disagree with transfermarkt.com about that.
Diaby is a truly high rate and quality RW and football player.

+ Future prediction and player rating:
He is 23. If he keeps working hard. Have the right focus and keep his feets on the ground. I think soon or later he will leave Bayer Leverkusen. For Newcastle or the one of the biggest club in Europe.

With player rating. On his current level. Moussa Diaby is not a clear 4 out of 5. Diaby is definitely 4.5. I rate him compare to football history level for RW. Not top level in football world right now. Diaby is somewhere between 4.5 - 4.7
If he join one of the biggest club in Europe and be consistent on top level like left winger Sadio Mane. Then he will be on top and world class level.
Moussa Diaby hasn't been playing on champion league level. He will get it this year with Bayer Leverkusen. But Leverkusen is not a top clubs in Europe. So the level of his teammates could get better and higher. Like playing for example Liverpool, City or Manchester United.

+ His position in a team:
He suit all kind of formation and football style. But special if you give Diaby a lot of space. With his top speed, skills and flair. You will see the best of him

Example of 433 line up :

Diaby RW - RCM - CDM - LCM - Diaby LW + CF. He can play on both sides. But i think he is clearly best as RW

4231 formation:

Diaby - CAM - LW Diaby + CF

+ Conclusion and sum up:
Like i said above. Its not so much more i will ask and want more from Diaby as RW and attacking player. The only thing i would ask for. Is he stay as sharpest and most effective he can be when he is not the pitch. It's the end product and finish skill. Sharp, effective and consistent.
And if some of the biggest club as for a top quality RW that is not playing for one of the biggest club in Europe. Then i will recommend Moussa Diaby.
Between Ajax RW Antony and Diaby. At this current moment and level. Full packet as a football player. I would prefer and pick Diaby over Antony. Because i always focus most on the end product skill and quality. How effective you are as a football player. And at this moment. Diaby level is over Antony.

Antony < Diaby

Again, if any top clubs out there. Want and need a top quality RW. Who can play on both sides. Full of determination and high level of consistently. Moussa Diaby is my best recommendation. And market value at 60 mill euros market value rated by transfermarkt.com. is fully right and fully deserve.
And i think he price is right around 50 - 60 mill £ with add ons. The 60 mill £ is the max i would pay for Diaby. Standing from the point of a buyer club.
Bayer Leverkusen only paid 15 mill euros for him. Back in 2019. So selling him around 50 mill euros plus adds on. Leverkusen should be satisfy with that price.

After Mahrez left the premier league.
I will rate Diaby as the quickest left foot right winger best ball control = best ball skill/close control.
Beside being really sharp and high end product ability too.
So i still believe Diaby has what it takes. If Aston Villa don't reach and get top 4 and champion league in the future.
I think and believe Diaby has got what it takes to join a top teams in premier league.

End product and finish skill is really really important. What Ten Hag and most managers demand. Be ruthless and score the goals.

Diaby is a definitely one to watch and keep tabs on for the biggest clubs in Europe.

I run into this player in August. In the transfer window. But i decided to follow and scouting him some matches before i report him. And after yesterday match i think i have seen enough to rate him currently good enough as a squad player for a top 4 teams in the 5 biggest league in Europe.
So now, let us take a closer look on him.

Name : Arthur Vermeeren
Date of birth: 07.02.2005
Citizenship: Belgium
Position: CM
Current team: Royal Antwerp
Prefer foot : Right
Current market value: 17 mill €

Description:
I rate him better with the ball than without the ball. So i will category him more as a creative cm player than a defensive cm player like Casemiro, Fred, Amrabat and McTominay.
The boy is young. So i can see the high energy, young guts and spirit. So he cover a lot of area.
A hard working and aggressive cm player.
Calm and composure with the ball. Even i can see he can improve more on this area. He is still really young. So he can still improve to be more composure when it can to the finish moment and to become more sharper.
But overall he has really high basic football skill. Which is passing, transition & running with the ball and the combination and pass football.
Good and high football understanding.
And so far i don't think he is a mood player. What it mean he has a conistent mentality.

He had a really good game yesterday. His first assist was after being aggresive and win the ball high up the pitch. The second was just a top class trough ball assist. At the right place and pace for the goalscorer. A assist pass from the central midfield area.

+ Video and visual description of him :

His best positions and where he fit in the team:
Like i said above. I rate him better with the ball than without = better in the creative aspect of the game than in the defensive. And with his young and high energy, guts and aggressiveness. I will not hold it back and will not limit his full ability and let him more freely express himself on the pitch.
Even in future i can see him sit and hold back. Be more a deep cm playmaker. A nr.6 playmaker. But right now. I will category and give him the creative and offensive nr.8 role. The creative box to box nr.8.
The first assist he had yesterday. Was showing he was really high up on the pitch to press and win the ball. In opponent final third area.
And i have seen enough of him with the ball. That his creative and ball skill will help the team. More than only to sit back and balance.

+ So here is his best positions.

First in 442 formation:

RM - Vermeeren nr.8 - DM nr.6 - LM

+ In a 433 formation. Against teams his team shall dominate. He can be the deep lying nr.6 playmaker

RM - RCM - CM Vermeeren - LCM - LM

+ Against top teams where his teams will sit back and counter more. Than his best position will be the RCM. In a counter attack set up. That team need a better defensive cm player like Amrabat. Who shield and protect the back line better. Then Vermeeren 's high work rate and creative will be really useful as the cm runner, the RCM player.
Like this:

RM - Vermeeren - Amrabat - LCM - LM

Current football level and rating:
Right now. At this moment. I think and believe he still have a long way to reach the top level as a creative cm player. Or to become a complete cm player.
Like above. He can be more composure and sharper with the ball. And with the years. His body become stronger and he get use to the top speed and intensity of the top level of football. I think he has attributes to adapt and cope with highest speed, aggresiveness and intensity of the top level.
Yes right now i rate him as a really good and mature creative cm player.
But at the age of Kevin De Bruyne or Toni Kroos. The creative ability and area. He can still develop more.

A point level from 1-6:

1 = Very poor
2= poor
3 = Average
4 = good

4,5 = Vermeeren. I think it is where i will rate right now. He is not a clean 4. Neither a clean 5. The second best under the top level. But definitely over 4,5 point out of 6

5 = very good
6 = the top level

Sum up and conclusion :
To sum up. Like i said earlier. I think and believe he is good enough to be in the squad for a champion league team from the top 5 league. But not good enough for a regular starting as the creative and offensive nr.8. The level in that role require a lot. Because you are compete with the best teams in the world.
But i do see and rate his overall basic football skill, football understanding and mentality.
Like the head line.
Big clubs out there are keeping tabs on him and he is definitely a player to watch out and follow with close eyes.
Really mature, composure and consistent for young age, which is 18.

Arthur Vermeeren : A player to watch out and keep tabs on.

Wake up babe new LuckyScout banger

Wake up babe new LuckyScout banger
Can we make LuckyScout head of the transfer committee? Seemingly better strike-rate than the brains trust responsible for our recruitment the last how-many years...

Pedro Neto caught mine eyes in his first premier league matches for Wolves. One of his clear ability i recognized was his explosiveness and super quick acceleration. A left foot winger and wide player with a high end product.
Two years later. Is this boy ready to take the last step in his football career?
Is Pedro Neto ready to join a top club in premier league and football?

We will find out about the answer later. Now, let us take a closer look of him.

Name : Pedro Neto
Date of birth: 9. mars 2000
Citizenship: Portugal
Position: All round LW/RW & Wide player
Current team: Wolves
Prefer foot : Left
Current market value: 32 mill €

Description:
Like i said above and in the beginning. He is super quick in the first metres. Thank to his quick explosiveness and acceleration. He has strong gravity and balance.
Really good ball control on top speed.
Really good in close area
He has high end product and high creative level.
Pedro is good both as to open up tight defend and counter attack winger
High assist rate. CF will love him
A straightforward winger. He keeps it simple. He trust and knows that his super quick acceleration in the first metres will make him pass opponent players easily. So he knows to use his strenght.

A video description :

In this video we can see:

He can play on both sides and doing really well. He can go on both sides. Not only down the line and deliver a 45 % angle passes into the box.
And when he is free to express himself. We can see he is all over the place and cover big area. In the creative and attack build up of the team.

+ 3.05 min into the video : he was showing top skill here. 2 players on him

Now. I will put on some of the stats and ability i think it's important as attacking and creative wide player. Stats that is showing his creative level is up there with the best players in premier league. Special this season:

+ Neto : Assist per 90 min : 0.71 Phil Foden: 0.34 Bernardo Silva : 0.32
+ Neto : Key passes per 90 min : 2.44 Phil Foden: 2.97 B.Silva : 1.94 Neto behind Foden but above Silva
+ Neto : Successful crosses per 90 min: 2.23 Phil Foden: 0.52 B.Sivla: 0.78

We can see when it come to crosses from the wide. He is clear above both Foden and Silva. And as a wide player and winger. You have a CF that is really good in the air. Top header ability. It is important that the wide player can deliver precise and successful crosses.

And here is the link to the sources i was using:
https://footystats.org/players/portugal/pedro-neto
https://footystats.org/players/england/phil-foden
https://footystats.org/players/portugal/bernardo-silva

Comparison :
And compare Pedro Neto to other left foot RW and wide player. I will not going into stats here. Just theirs main ability as wingers

+ Moussa Diaby from Aston Villa. Another super quick RW. Quick acceleration and really good ball control on top speed
+ Antony from Manchester United. A skillful RW. But is lacking the top acceleration or top speed to past defenders easily.

In short words:
Pedro Neto is winger that is both useful and effective against a sitting back and tight defend. And really effective against a high line defend too = counterattack.
Moussa Diaby has his strongest strenght is against a high line defend. Then his super speed with the ball will be really effective. But ability to open up tight and deep defend is not as high as Neto
Antony is a who i have seen many times lack the top speed to run away from defenders. Special in counter attack. Antony has his strength is close area ball skill.

So that are the differences between those RW.

And at this moment i will rate them like this :

Antony < Neto = Diaby > Antony

Neto is more robust and stronger than Diaby. But i think Diaby has sharper and better finish skill and ability.
Both Neto and Diaby at this moment i think is above Antony. The full packet as wingers, attacking and football player.

Current football level and rating:
At this moment i will not rate Pedro Neto in the same basket and level as top RW i have seen. Like Arjen Robben and Mahrez

And with this rating scala :

1 = Very poor
2= poor
3 = Average
4 = good
5 = very good
6 = the top level

I will rate Pedro Neto as a very good RW. The level behind top and world class level. But playing with better teammates, a more dominating team. Can help him to reach the top level. On hang on that top level. Consistent over a long period.

Sum up and conclusion :
Back to the first questions : Is Pedro Neto ready to take the last step to join a top level club and is he good enough for a top level club?

So as we can see above. I rate him as a very good RW and better than Antony from Manchester United.
Skillful and ball control and flair. I don't think he is far from Mo Salah ball skill level. It's just Salah end product and finish skill. A more natural scorer that made Salah what he was.

And at this moment in the football world and market. We don't have and don't see a top and world class winger like peak Salah, Robben and Mahrez.
The level of a RW in the football market and world has drop.

So i think and believe he is good enough for Manchester United. And good enough for any top club in premier league. Same level as City new wide player in Doku.

In short words. At this moment and current form. I think Pedro Neto is ready to take the last step. To join a top club in premier league.

Name : Victor Okoh Boniface
Date of birth: 23.Dec.2000
Citizenship: Nigeria
Position: CF
Current team: Bayer Leverkusen
Prefer foot : Right
Current market value: 40 mill €

Description:
Like i said in the title. He is a right foot Lukaku. Really strong and powerful. Really difficult for defenders to handle.
One of his strength is to play with his back against opponent goal. Strong gravity. Suit perfect for teams that want a CF that can hold on the ball with his back against opponent goal.
He is good with his weak left foot too.
His speed with and without the ball is really high. And really good ball control on top speed.
He is a beast of a CF. A upcoming and promising CF.

A clip of what he can contribute and been able to deliver on the football pitch

1:29 minute into the video:

Look how strong he was there. With his back against opponent goal. I think most of CBs in premier league will struggle too. He is so powerful and strong.
I think he does bring fear to defenders. Because he is hard and difficult to handle. You might foul him to stop him. And inside the box. If you give him a little space, then you will be in trouble.

Current football level and rating:
I think he is on Rasmus Højlund or above. Compare to Højlund. Boniface is stronger and more powerful. He is better to hold on the ball than Højlund. And maybe a little more quicker and more explosive in the first meters than Højlund.
Boniface is maybe lesser skill ful on the ball than Højlund. But the overall packet. I think he is up there or slightly better than Højlund.

Boniface like Højlund are not at world and top class yet. But with really good service like he is having at Bayer Leverkusen. He will score regular.

Some stats season 23/24:
Bundesliga : 16 apps, 1377 minutes. 11 goals. 8 assists. KeyP 1.2 . Dribbling 2.3

It show average 130 minutes for each goal. And he can set up his teamates for goals too.

Sum up :
Like i said above. He is on his way up his career. And he is not far from the top level of CF. A top CF in the world is a CF that is and has delivered conistent performances over years and long period of time.
And playing for Bayer Leverkusen or another equal top European team with same top and consistent service. It's no doubt Boniface will keeps scoring goals. Regularly.

So if you want a powerful and strong CF. That is really good to hold on the ball and hard to handle and play against. This is the CF you are looking after.
Again. A right foot version of Lukaku and a beast of a CF.

Following

All the recommendation he made on the first page moved to bigger teams and are doing well

I discover and saw him for the first time in Italy friendly match against Bosnia. 9 Juin. But my intention was to scout and watch his CBs teammate Federico Gatti. And i did got impressed by Buongiorno.

Now let us take a closer look of him.

Name : Alessandro Buongiorno
Date of birth: 6.Juin 1999
Citizenship: Italy
Position: CB
Current team: Torino
Prefer foot : Left
Current market value: 35 mill €

Description :
From the observation of the Italy vs Bosnia 1-0 match. I will describe him as a aggresive, solid, powerful and a CB who is hard to play against.
Alessandro Buongiorno is a fighter and warrior. I will say he is a bigger and taller version of Lisandro Martinez, but not as good on the ball as Martinez. But good enough to get call up for Italy national team. So i guess you get to be above good on the ball.
But like i said. You buy him first of all to defend. One on one. He is hard to beat and pass.

A visual description of him :

Comparison :
To others left foot CBs out there. Not top left foot CB playing for Top teams. Just upcoming really good and solid left foot CB

+ Jarrad Paul Branthwaite, Everton & England. 27.Juin 2002. Current MV = 42 mill euros
+ Otavio , Porto & Brazil. 21.April.2002. Current MV = 13 mill euros
+ William Pacho, E.Frankfurt & Ecuador. 16.Oct.2001. Current MV = 35 mill euros

Alessandro Buongiorno is some years older than those 3. So i did look more mature on the pitch than those 3. More solid. Not raw like Otavio from Porto and Brazil.
Skill on the ball are not big difference between those 4 left foot CBs.
He is physical superior compare to Brantwaite. I think he would handle a beast of CF like Haaland better than Brantwaite. Stronger and more powerful. And harder to beat one on one.
And we can see his current M.V is around Pacho and Branthwaite. From 35-45 mill euros. But Everton demanded around 70 mill £ for Branthwaite.
So if any team could get Alessandro Buongiorno for around 30-40 mill euros plus add ons. I think it will be a good buy. Value for money.

Current football level and rating:
He is not a world class level. But i think i will rate him the level under the top level. A very good level.

He has been highly rated so far. From the youth level until now:

2016–2017Italy U186(0)
2017–2018Italy U199(0)
2018–2019Italy U2011(0)
2020Italy U212(0)
2023–Italy4(0)

And with that consistency. From the age of 17-18. Always got picked up to the youth nation team. And 4 caps for the nation team form 2023. You got to be dedicated and work really hard. To stay on top. Now he belongs one of the best CB in Italy.

Sum up and conclusion :
Again. If any club could get him 30 -40 mill euros. I think and believe it will be a good buy and i would recommend it.
You will get a solid, powerful and hard to beat CB. A CB with top figthing spirit and winning mentality. Steady and consistent mentality. You can see his energy and passion trough his aggresiveness.
And at the age of 25. He is showing his mature with and off the ball. Aggresive but not raw.

So sum up. I think and believe, at this moment and his current level. He is a really good and solid CB that you can count on. The top fighting mentality is there.

And if you want to find a lesser expensive CB than Jarrad Branthwaite. Alessandro Buongiorno can be the alternative option. I think and believe at this moment. He can do equal good job as Branthwaite. With and without the ball.

I discovered this 17 years old promising Danish ball playing CB during scouting Euro U17 this summer. Most of his team build up start or went trough him. It mean he touched and the control the ball a lot. He was spreading the ball all round. In other words we can call him a CB controlling playmaker.
Now let us take a closer look on him.

Name : Noah Markmann
Date of birth: 24.02.2007
Citizenship: Denmark
Position: CB
Current team: Nordsjælland
Prefer foot : Right
Current market value: Not valued yet by transfermark.com. So i will value him around 5 mill euros

Description :
Like i said above. Markmann is a ball playing controlling CB. He start most of his team build up. His calmness with the ball under high pressure is really high and good. Where we can observed in his video clips later.
He is really good and confidence running with the ball forward.
He is really good and safe with the ball. Really high basic ball abilities.
Good in air.

I found only one video of him on youtube. The boy is just 17 and his club is not a big european club. But i did watched all him matches for Denmark U17 this summer tour for Euro U17.

A visual description of him:

Comparison :
To compare him with CB from Manchester United academy. I think his level and abilities is above Manchester United U19 and U21 level. Special his ball playing and controlling ability.

And his CF teammate Chido Obi in Denmark U17 is in Arsenal FC's academy. So as CB. He is as good as his CF teammate playing for Arsenal FC U19. Joining them back in 2022.

Chido Obi - Wikipedia

So i rate Noah Markmann as good enough for Manchester United U21 and reserve team or other big clubs next best and reserve team in premier league.

Sum up and conclusion :
This is a really promising upcoming controlling and really good ball playing CB. So if clubs that is under the level of top clubs in Europe. Like Ajax, Red Bull, Monaco. Bigger and level up from his current club Nordsjælland. Looking after a really promising ball playing CB.
I will recommend you to add this boy to you Academy reserve or u21 team. His level is above Manchester Unite U19 CB level. None of United U19 CB is as good as this boy.

So if he keeps working hard, have right focus and determination. Keep always fit. Then i think we will see him for the first team of FC Nordsjææland really soon and maybe for the Denmark national team in the future.
He has a eyecatching and dominance presence. Most of the ball go trough him and he start and build up most attack. So you will easily recognize him.

For his age. Mature, calm and a really good ball playing CB. My recommend to add to the team Academy, for next/2nd and top clubs in Europe.

Two things I liked were his anticipation in closing down the striker and leaving space to turn into when stepping out. Helps to negate the high press.

Not to be a naysayer to the oracle, but surely every CB at the U17’s is going to be elite for their age, we just don’t know who will kick on and who won’t. I’d always go for physicality personally at that age group, feel like the pendulum has swung too far technically for defenders recently and you need a bit more combative/aggressive players at Cb.

Physicality and aggression can be improved upon. Technical and mental aspects of defending at that age are more important if you ask me, if you can't read the game and have good positioning being physically bigger than your opponent at 17 makes the game easier and you will look better. However when you step a year or two up the physical advantage disappears very very quickly and the players who lack the critical mental skills get found out.

That's without looking at ball playing ability, the clever players with good mental ability to read the game and judge the play will also tend to be good and composed on the ball.

Remember seeing Henry talk before about how different countries judge young players, I think he was saying that in Spain, first they look for the brain and everything else is built upon that.

He was saying how they train as kids - they go pure possession from a young age versus England which used to play long. Most academies now though are broadly similar so the technical level of all players is, on average, much better. England changed this over a decade ago it just take multiple generations to see it. I think the opposite, you can’t train acceleration that much without packing on too much muscle, your genetics define that part ie I’d want someone rapid but average technically versus average physically but great technically.

I think he was talking more about the mental abiltiy they would look for? They didn't always pick the biggest, the strongest or the fastest etc. They focused more on awareness, touch, movement, intelligence on the ball etc..

Will probably see in about 10 years if England have advanced to that level of player development.

He just won Euro 24 for U19 with Spain. A really promising CB. Let us take a closer look of him.

Name : Wassim Keddari
Date of birth: 03.02.2005
Citizenship: Spain and able to play for Algeria
Position: CB
Current team: Al-Arabi
Prefer foot : Right
Current market value by transfermarkt: 650 K Euros
Last price tag : 4.30 mill euros from Espanyol to Al-Arabi

Description :
Really high basic ball skill to be a CB. He is precise and has a high rate of succesful long passes. A determination and confidence CB.
He is really focus on the pitch and read the game really good.

And about visual decription. He was playing for Espanyol in Spain. So i am not allow to put a video of him here. But for those who are interrest in video clips. You can search his name on Youtube.

Mentally like earlier. He is really focus, high cofindence and self belief. So he has a dominance presence on the pitch. A CB with solid and strong personality and character.

Comparison :
I think Keddari is on the same level as the kid and young CB in my last scouting report. Noah Markmann from Denmark. Basic football skill and mentality. Both top and elite talents in Europe and special as CB. 2 Cbs with high confidence and self belief.
And to win Euro for U19. You definitely belong to the best CB talent in Europe. Belong to a winning team.

Sum up and conclusion :
From what i have observing him from the Euro U19 tournament. I think he has everything to become a really good and dominate CB in the future. And i think he has what it takes to got picked up to the Spanish Nation team in the future. Or for Algeria if he choose to play for them.
Because he has a really high basic ball skills, short and long distance speed with and without the ball. Plus a strong, determination and solid mentality.
So if he keeps working hard, have the right focus. Join a club with better teaamates and a higher level than Qatar super league. I think and belief we will see more of this boy on the highest stage in the future.
