Think Jack showed tonight that he is more the kind of player who can produce something out of nothing more than Jadon
Is Jadon good at pressing, harrying, and getting in and amongst it? Cavani aside, too often our forwards go missing and get lost between the opposition's defence and midfield. With Grealish, you know you are getting a player that will fight and have enough quality to still make things happen, even in games against extremely compact backlines. Grealish is an absolute no-brainer for me.Think Jack showed tonight that he is more the kind of player who can produce something out of nothing more than Jadon
This is farfetched but would anyone consider a swap of Sancho and Martial + 30m? assuming Martial is worth 60m... that would allow us to get Grealish in if required?
Grealish (LW, AM, CM, RW), Rashford (LW, ST, RW), Sancho (RW, LW), Cavani (ST), Diallo (RW, LW), Greenwood (RW, ST), James (LW, RW) wouldn't be a bad attack and obviously there's Bruno (AM, CM).
We need to focus on recruiting players who have a hunger for success. Rashford, Bruno and Cavani have proven that.
Personally I would be happy if we could get either Jack or Jadon this summer but still think only way it happens is if Pogba does still decide to leave the club. Mind you if we had the money put aside for them last window then surely we still have it to sign them now. There is more of an x-factor feel about Grealish but as we know he hasn't played on the RW in seven years so the club may doubt whether he can and look elsewhere. I have to say that can't see anyone in europe being willing to pay £60m for Tony right now and quite frankly I wouldn't blame them either.

I agree.... Instead of getting 60m for Martial, perhaps using him in a player and cash exchange for Sancho? Martial would be moving to a team that competes in the CL every year. Seems like a win-win situation. I think Martial could better himself in the Bundesliga. Grealish and Bruno in the same team would help us break down teams.

a top level younger striker so we don't have to rely on Eddy all the time.
Yeah unfortunately I can see Pogba still leaving but I also think DVB is the replacement for PogbaSancho on a smaller fee with last summer's remaining budget and Grealish with this summer's budget aided by player sales (namely Pogba and one of the keeper really).
Actually think that all 4 players listed in the title would hugely improve the team
grealish - unpredictable but consistent performances. Always seems to choose the right option. Love watching him play. He’d replace Pogba for me
sancho - would slot in as RWF for now. How long he could stay there would be a question because we now have a highly rated Diallo coming through. We could perhaps gamble on him and save the money it would take to get sancho
rice - I love McT and Fred. But Rice is going to be a superb player who could also slot into CB when the pressure is on. His passing is underrated, his job would be to get the ball and quickly move it on to more creative players. Also a natural leader.
DCL - best young target man in England. If we can’t get Haaland I think this chap could score the goals and lead the line superbly. Good on the ground and in the air. He’d replace Martial who has poor consistency
Fantasy football because stuff never works out like this, but if we could move on Pogba and martial and replace them with grealish and DCL we’d really be talkingActually think that all 4 players listed in the title would hugely improve the team

Sancho, Grealish, Rice or Calvert-Lewin?
All of them.
In order of preference:
Grealish
Rice
Sancho
Grealish.
Doubts about Sancho now. Rice is solid but wouldn’t transform us in midfield. DCL wouldn’t be enough of an upgrade at CF to justify the fee.
Rashford will have to adapt somehere else at make room on the left for Grealish, who’s a substantially more effective footballer.
Sick of mental midgets with questionable work-rate in our forward line - so Sancho is fully off the table.
Grealish. By an absolute million miles. He has on-field attitude, arrogance and personality in buckets - and combines it with supreme technical ability, flair and creativity. He also never coasts through games. If we get the best out of him on the left, then he plays on the left.
With those 3 feeding the striker it has to be someone who can take those chances - has to be HaalandSerious question let’s say Pogba does go and some how this summer we can bring in all the mentioned players except for Lewin. So our team looks like this.
DDGWho honestly do we play as striker because personally I don’t think Rashford is good enough for that role so where does he fit in or does he fight with Grealish for the left and we bring in a striker that can do the job?
Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Shaw
Rice Fred
Sancho Bruno Grealish
????

Still Grealish for me. I’d like him at 8. We need more technique in CM. Would need a disciplined 6 and, no, we don’t really have that.
I wasn’t too impressed with Rice the other night. Maybe it’s time to unlock the Bellingham thread. (Dortmund reportedly ready to sell him).
Yes I do, very much. Would love to have someone with Grealish’s ability to receive, hold, carry and pass the ball, right in the middle of the pitch. This is hyperbole but in my head he becomes a cross between Iniesta and Xavi.Do you think Jack is capable of playing in that no 8 role though and who would you like sign at no 6 then
As hilariously bad as the Sancho thing went last summer, it may have actually worked out in Utds favour. Unless, of course, another club swoops in. Still plenty of time to feck it up!
