Samuel Eto'o

i never get people laughing. It is clear eto'o would improve our squad but there you go! Maybe it's their way of dealing with it or living in denial?

As sir alex has also said, 'anythings possible'. The problems bigger for barcalona now. By saying what we've said, we've put more pressure on barcalona. If you go into negotations too keen you end up paying 20m+ for eto'o . With a year left on his contract, that ain't happening

That's not to say it's lies or we are interested, but to hold it as gospel is nieve. This will drag on clearly

Dont know whether or not it has been asked before but can Eto buy out his contract with Barca enabling him to go where he likes?

you know i was just thinking that but i don't know the answer

He can, but there is a agreement between top clubs around europe that they are not going to sign each others player's that way.

In addition to United 4 Life's point, it's too late for him as you're only allowed to buy out your contract within 2 weeks of the end of the season, and FIFA's season officially ends on June 31st.

I thought it was within two weeks of your clubs final competitive game of the season.

Urban dictionary:

"1. June 31st 2 thumbs up love it hate it

The fictional last day of the month of June. Generally to be used as an ironic statement in reference to an event.

My birthday is on June 31st.

I'll pay you back after the 31st of June.

Very pleased if he goes to Inter - didn't want any of our rivals to pick him up.

I'll bet you £5 of your finest English pounds that he doesn't go anywhere Brwned, even though he's only got 1 year of contract left

Hmmm, that's a tempting bet Brad, and I'll take it.

I've yet to set up this Paypal account, but once I do I'll have that £10 from GlastonSpur and that £5 from you.

Knowing a thing or two about football might actually turn out to be quite profitable.

;)

Hehehe.

Ooh you've been lucky Brwned, if Barca hadn't lost their minds and gone with this Ibrahimovic deal, he wouldn't have gone anywhere

When it's confirmed I shall send you your fiver, send me paypal details when its set up

respect!

i made a bet with someone here ages ago and never saw the cash. Although i lost or forgot where to find all evidence of the bet which didnt help my case.

Eto'o will do well in Italy, he'd do well anywhere but i really think Juve are shaping up a bit better than Inter this season.

Player wise that is very true. I wonder though whether their manager can match Mourinho.

Going for the Barca approach, the same as AC Milan. Because it worked for Barcelona doesnt make it any less of a risk for these sides but it should make for an interesting Serie A.

I hope they can all do well and have a tight and exciting season in Italy.

Good to see Juve back though. Not sure about their back line and although Diego will replace the skills Nedved had left behind still think they need a winger.

So here, what paypal details do you need from me? I thought all you needed was my email?

And Chief was right about Inter, Milito and Eto'o have started off this season very well and they've added another dimension to their team.

The rumour in Juventus circles is Ciro Ferrara might make the Diego's fight to get back in the side. As their replacements have done well thus far. That would be a Guardiola like thing to do.
& could give Juve an edge to their play.

I couldnt doubt that happening more, my juve supporting mate like Giovinco but Diego is already a firm firm favourite. He's looked at as the guy to spearhead the juventus revival. His performance and two goals against Roma are still the highlight of the juventus season. He'll walk back in the side. Maybe if they had put Genoa away last night it might be different. I think he'll walk back in when fit enough.

bloody hell brwned you might have pm'd the bugger, you'll be getting caftard abuse all over the shop!

It's been on my profile the whole time anyway, and I barely use it for anything.

I'll be fineee.

Which should be no problem for Diego as he is currently a much more accomplished player than that kid

MANCHESTER CITY want Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o to replace Carlos Tevez.

Italian giants Inter Milan are in talks with Manchester City to buy striker Carlos Tevez for £40m and Samuel Eto'o looks set to be heading in the other direction.

Manchester City's fractured relationship with star striker Tevez worsened last week.

City were in dismay after hearing the Argentinian was spotted talking to Inter Milan's sporting director Marco Branca while on holiday in Sardinia.

Inter are one of the clubs that have shown a keen interest in Tevez, and would be willing to let Samuel Eto'o go to fund the transfer.

Eto'o opened the door for a move to the Premier League last month.

The Inter Milan striker insists he wants to prove he can be a big hit in England.

The Cameroon star said: "I have received some very interesting offers from England and during my month's holiday I will look at the situation.

"I am 30, which is the perfect time for me to sign my last big deal. But the money is not the key for me."
Scary. Admittedly their's no quotes that correspond with the story.
