Saka (Arsenal)

He’ll play basically every game for the next 2-3 seasons. Injuries permitting, and if he maintains his trajectory, he’ll end up somewhere bigger by 21.
Can’t see them keeping him too much longer. Another 18 months of scraping by mediocre Portuguese teams and looking nowhere near CL football level in the PL and he’ll definitely start looking elsewhere.

We should start the tapping up process and not let him end up at City/Chelsea/Liverpool.

Incredible how quickly he's become the talisman for Arsenal. They shouldn't be relying so much on a 19 year old.

He's on a long contract. I mean none of the PL heavyweights have been able to pry Grealish off Aston Villa, think getting Saka from Arsenal might be more difficult. If and when he leaves, I hope we get 100m for him.

We've always relied on 19 year olds, starting from Anelka, to Fabregas, to Wilshere. Hope he has a better career than the aforementioned

What’s your record sale? Something tells me he’d smash that record.

That would require you selling him with 2 or more years left on his deal and him not pushing for the move you'd expect.

Looking forward to his development though looks a top, top player.

Given his age he should look to stay a few years, play every week then look to join a big club with ambitions of trophies and competing

I dread to think where we would be this season without him. He’s still not close to the level I think he can reach though. Him playing as a right winger has potentially brought out a couple more levels. If he add more goals to his come which he is starting to do, then I honestly don’t think he‘s far from being amongst the best in his position.

Yeah, don’t disagree, that’s why I said another 18 months or so. If he continues on his current trajectory — should/when he leaves, definitely breaking your outgoing transfer record.

Developing nicely at a midtable club where he's guaranteed minutes. City bound in a couple of years I reckon.

English plyers rarely push for moves out of their boyhood clubs. I mean, I was nervous when he was delaying signing the deal this summer, but now that we've got him for the next 4 years, I think we can safely keep extending him till someone offers 100m for him, or our fortunes improve.

Did the Van Persies transfer to us ease a transfer like this to us or only make it harder to get?

Hardly relied on any of those. Anelka barely played for you and Wilshire was always injured.

Cesc was dynamite of course.

Quality talent. Now watch the dinosaur Southgate pick Mount or Rashford over him.

Rashford is currently better, why would anyone NOT pick Rashford? Arsenal fans...
Because Rashford can't dribble whereas Saka can? Doesn't take a genius to see that. A front three of Sterling, Kane and Saka would be enormously productive.

Depends on the midfield behind it, with Grealish or Foden (which is likely) a goalscorer would be of more worth than a creator.

Rashford cant dribble ?
What a dumbass comment.

Rashford completes 2.6 dribbles per game at 57% success rate. Saka completes 1.6 at 50%, but Rashford can't dribble.

Not surprising, this was the guy who said Lewa wasn't anything special and Bayern can easily replace him with Auba.

Funnily enough, the one aspect of Rashford’s game this season that has absolutely improved this season is how clean he is with his dribbling. Probably at the cost of shooting/passing early enough.

Love to see the clueless comments from Arsenal fans again. Gift that keeps on giving.
