Sadio Mane | Performances

He's been brilliant but I think he does suit Klopp's system much more than Mourinho's.

We should have signed him. And he should have signed for us. Instead it's now a lose-lose, where he plays well for a shite team that won't go anywhere - pretty much exactly how things were at Southampton for him, but better paid.

Currently sitting on 13 goals and 5 assists in the PL.
- 2 goals against Arsenal (home and away)
- 2 goals against Tottenham.
- winning goal against Everton away.

Good signing for Liverpool so far, would have thrived for Mourinho too I reckon.

I really wanted to sign him and that hasn't changed since he went to Liverpool. I think he's a very good player and like you say I could see him doing very well here.

He's only 24 (well 25 in a week) so it's quite likely he'll continue progressing. Very good player. Easily Liverpool's best.

Thought £34m was too expensive but he's definitely been worth it. Maybe LVG was right to pursue him last season.

feck. Can't be losing our best players left right centre.

Depressing that we could be without him & Lallana, our best players this year, for the rest of the season :(

Klopp has said that it doesn't look good. I've got a horrible feeling that he's finished for the season.

You look in a fantastic position now. No games remaining against the top 7 if I'm not mistaken.

Looked a nasty one that, did something similar a few months back, those injuries are painful as feck.

So nothing definite at all then. Still waiting for the swelling to go down before a proper scan can be taken. Not that I don't think his season is over but right now no one knows for sure.

Yeah, you're right. It's all going to be ok. :nervous:

If it's still swollen now then it's not going to be a quick one. Considering the season has what 7 weeks left? I would say if he's back by May it'll be a miracle.

Don't think it will have any impact on their top four chances. They will qualify with or without him.

Think it could, anytime I've watched Liverpool he's looked their best player. They're also not exactly the most reliable of teams when it comes to playing the weaker sides either.

Will be an interesting ending to the season

Yea, if it's swelling this badly, it's not going to be a quick recovery. This last stretch is going to be testing...

I think he's a big part of Liverpools succes this year. Success is maybe a stretch as they're not much better of then us but they do have a great attacking game.

Would be some good karma if he was out for the season and they missed out on the Champions League after the rats was loving Colemans injury.

We'll cope. He wasn't exactly on form recently anyway, has been quiet by his standards and with Origi and Coutinho scoring hopefully they can step up.

Coutinho has had his one good game in 10 now though so hes due to go missing.

I don't think we've won a league game without him.

No one loves injuries. And probably even fewer care about Everton injuries as it's always a guaranteed three points regardless. :)

Edit: was meant to be a reply to your other mature post about rats.
