That's class.

In all I do rate him from what I've seen he's got electric pace and scores alot of goals OK he's not a marquee signing but he still has his trophies to win and alot to prove which I think is a good thing to have someone with hunger.
 
Shaw and Schneiderlin have convinced Van Gaal and Woodward that Southampton is the way to go for players who dont let you down and make you cry yourself to sleep like Di Maria did.

Does Gareth Bale still play for them? I hear he's good.

Nah but he's a shite player. According to caf members that never watched him play other than the few times we've played Southampton.

Well Muller is the ultimate pipe dream, was never going to happen. But I'd imagine most will be underwhelmed with this signing regardless. I think it could be a decent signing, the sort Fergie might have made (Young). It adds depth and competition for places, but would he improve our starting XI? At this moment in time I'd have to say no.

I'm honestly not sure what to make of this in truth mate, it's so random and not exactly exciting after losing out on a proven quality player like Pedro. I guess I can file him under don't care either way.
 
I haven't really watched Mane play so I don't know why, but I've got a bad feeling about this potential transfer.
 
Does he play on the right? I was under the impression he played on the left..

Anyway, I'm not totally against it from what I have seen of him, providing we don't get rinsed $ wise. He's quick, he's a big threat to teams and he's only young having just adapted to the league, there's scope for improvement.

He was our Mane target all summer. He will play as our Mane attacking midfielder. The Mane thing to remember here is that ... Pedro is a cnut.
 
Just give the lad a chance. I bet he's so keen to prove himself at United and from what I've seen he is a decent footballer with lots of pace.
Could be a very good signing.
 
Obviously a risk, but the guy is playing in England, is young, has scored goals, works hard, he'd be a fine signing given our needs.

I think people are so disappointed by the Pedro news they're not looking at this clearly.

That's the strange thing. From what I've seen of him, he always played on the left.

Also acted like a complete dick when his transfer to Southampton was on the cards. Refused to play for Salzburg again, which hurt them really bad as he was their best player.

It makes sense though if LVG is confident Rooney will improve and hence wants someone who will be happy to sit on the bench. Also, Rooney must be shitting his pants thinking about competing with Mane for the CF spot :lol:
