If he gets interim then nothing changes. We can’t score goals and he was brought in surely to help that.
Or that Rangnick fella who just said everything was wrong but improved nothing, while we waited for the hottest property abroad to become available.
Anyone can just say "oh we need a lot of new players".He was spot on though.
Jap. Also noticed this today quite heavily. It looked like United had 2 managers on the bench.
Nonsense, he's assisting on Ten Hags orders - he doesnt get to call the shots himself while Ten Hag is still the manager. If he gets interim then nothing changes. We can’t score goals and he was brought in surely to help that.
It's pretty obvious that RR was shafted by Murtough. He brought him in and then threw him under the bus to save himself. Rangnick was saying these things with confidence due to being one of the key decision makers moving forward. He could criticise players openly because he thought he'd be involved in assessing which ones would be kept or not.Anyone can just say "oh we need a lot of new players".
Especially to cover their back after a disasterous spell.
Looked like he had a quarrel in the dugout with Erik, I know these things are perfectly normal in management but it will be magnified when the team is doing as poor as it is.
Let’s get back to the coaching part and what he was brought in for… helping our ST score goals. That hasn’t panned out as it.Nonsense, he's assisting on Ten Hags orders - he doesnt get to call the shots himself while Ten Hag is still the manager.
exactly. Just look at how Mckenna team plays and he was Ole assistantNonsense, he's assisting on Ten Hags orders - he doesnt get to call the shots himself while Ten Hag is still the manager.

Again, Ten Hag decides the attacking patterns - not Ruud. He can coach all he likes but Ten Hag tells the players how to act.Let’s get back to the coaching part and what he was brought in for… helping our ST score goals. That hasn’t panned out as it.
Help within Ten Hag's system, no? I don't want RVN, but there's only so much he can do when the team is set up this poorly. If he gets interim then nothing changes. We can’t score goals and he was brought in surely to help that.
Ruud won’t set them up any better. I doubt we get anywhere near top 4 if he takes over till end of season… if someone like Tuchel came in we’d probably get closer to top 4Help within Ten Hag's system, no? I don't want RVN, but there's only so much he can do when the team is set up this poorly.
What is Arne Slot then? Of course he had a much more solid situation prepared for him by Klopp, but looks like he's making an even better Liverpool himself. We need to stop saying hottest property as Ten Hag was never that. He was the hipsters choice and has proven why we should never listen to those people again.
A fifty year old who never managed outside the Dutch league is not the hottest property around
I don’t believe this at all. You bring in coaches for there ideas on how to coach specific areas. So ETH decides the set piece routines to despite bringing in a set piece specialist.Again, Ten Hag decides the attacking patterns - not Ruud. He can coach all he likes but Ten Hag tells the players how to act.
We aren't getting top 4. Get that out of your head, for a start.Ruud won’t set them up any better. I doubt we get anywhere near top 4 if he takes over till end of season… if someone like Tuchel came in we’d probably get closer to top 4
What was he meant to do about it? He recommended signings and the board declined every single one...Anyone can just say "oh we need a lot of new players".

Where in that post did I say we would? Use your eyes for a start.. I said ‘closer’We aren't getting top 4. Get that out of your head, for a start.
People said he'd improve our attack but it's worse than ever.
And he most likely will field those players who are currently shitIf he gets interim then nothing changes. We can’t score goals and he was brought in surely to help that.

Yeah I never got why people defended Rangnick. Some people say he got fired for "telling the truth" but I'm not sure what he's supposed to have said or done.Or that Rangnick fella who just said everything was wrong but improved nothing, while we waited for the hottest property abroad to become available.
Maybe. Sometimes coaches are good at completely different things to their playing career. If he gets interim then nothing changes. We can’t score goals and he was brought in surely to help that.
How has he been a positive influence? Our worst attacking playmaking in the post-SAF days seem to "now". And that is a 10-year period. The people who thought this were naive to think an assistant would suddenly make us a superior attacking side when the manager's philosophy is clearly focused on counters. That's not to say Ruud hasn't been a positive influence and that he couldn't implement a more attack minded philosophy as caretaker.

What is the point of keeping a coach in the payroll when he does shit all, worse still, when the manager's philosophy is opposite that coach's?
Didnt the fans say the same thing about Ole's assistants Carrick and Mckenna that they were useless in training. If he gets interim then nothing changes. We can’t score goals and he was brought in surely to help that.
Who is available that is like Tuchel?Ruud won’t set them up any better. I doubt we get anywhere near top 4 if he takes over till end of season… if someone like Tuchel came in we’d probably get closer to top 4
Reposting in case it was missed. Ruud talks about his tactics in his cup final win v Ajax.
Why? He has more credential than when Pep or Zidane started as manager.Apart from the romance of having Ruud manage United, I can't see him changing anything other than giving the team a temporary boost for a few games, before the norm sets in again and the same old problems return.
