Russian invasion of Ukraine | Fewer tweets, more discussion

I'll say this much, the last two days spending most of the day reading this thread and lots of stuff related on Reddit, despite voices of reason, it's very easy to get very very fearful of worst case scenarios seeming very very real.

Stoltenberg said that a serious cyberattack could trigget Article 5. Looks like NATO statements are getting more confident and firm, while Russian officials are getting hysteric. Good signs.

Love this. Hard to believe Sumy and Karkhiv still in Ukranian hands (for the most part).

Not sure how it changes anything, I simply wonder if she actually believes what she's saying.

It changes everything when you wonder if she is that stupid for doing her job, which is to share the words of someone else. None of what she said can give you the beginning of clue when it comes to what she thinks and to be frank none of what Lavrov says either. Their job is largely to lie to and bamboozle people.

I have had to take to regular breaks, sometimes hours away from my phone, watch a movie, do something cheerful etc. It's very easy to just sit in one spot and scroll through never ending updates and engage in never ending discussions. I realise it's a privileged position to be able to just switch off from the awful news but its a necessity for me.

According to Luxembourg, Albania and the USA have stalled a resolution to Stand With Ukraine

No the tweet says that Albania and US drafted the resolution with Luxembourg (tabled in this context means submitted), they haven't stalled the resolution...

Anonymous doesn’t pop up too often, but when they do, they do some cool shit like take down the Russian Ministry of Defense website & leak its contents.

Any Ukrainians reading this ( which is highly unlikely) please PM me now, I’ll take of you if you if you can get to Poland border.

Ukraine national anthem being played in a neighborhood, and people cheering.

It's great to have as many countries as possible sponsoring it. But it is merely symbolic. We all know the UNSC will reject it via the Russian veto. The only suspense is how China will vote.

If they sweeten it enough and avoid Chapter 7, there might be a chance China don't vote with Russia.

We have seen Nizis once, I know it’s scary any Ukrainians on this please reach out to
