Compliance with INF by the West really screwed with tactical level GLCM's.
Should have done what the Russians did with Iskanders.
Excuse my ignorance, what’s INF?

No that place is an opsec nightmare
Enjoyed this.
I think the most significant and vivid part of that op-ed is the thought of what happens when the Ukrainians become desperate. He hammers home the point that this is a war for survival of their nation and desperate people may do things we won't like.
Some will say this is exaggeration and a substantial part of the population doesn't feel it's existential anymore and this is reflected in their struggle to attract new volunteers.Yeah, I didn't so much take it as a serious suggestion, but a strong example of just how serious and desperate this war is for Ukraine.

Apparenlty Russia’s worst month since the war began. These numbers just seem absolutely astronomical
Edit- I can’t work out how to post a proper link..
I am sorry, but I can't believe these numbers at all. Not even half
You are relentlessly negative about anything that might appear to be helpful or positive for Ukraine, so of course you don’t believe the numbers!
I note though, that they changed, at some point, the figures to include injuries as well as deaths, so I could just about believe it if what we hear about suicidal frontal attacks is true. I’m sure there is an element of exaggeration, it’s just establishing how much that is the problem.
You said it yourself " I am sure there is an element of exageration...". You don't believe the number either. Why then you label me as being negative if you are too?
Propaganda is in both sides
I said you were relentlessly negative, which is true!
Negative people can also be right sometimes though, and I think you may be in this case!
So instead of saying you are probably right, you decided to call I am negative.
But lets deepen on my relentlessly negative position of the conflict. I would like you to answer me if you can, please, From the scale of 1 to 10, How the expectations of Ukraine had IMPROVED from the the last year and a half since the last spring-summer offensive was expected and the almost a year without the US arm package approval?
What are you talking about? Are you drunk? So instead of saying you are probably right, you decided to call I am negative.

Sorry, what?
Part of me wishes this would end in Ukraine defeat so the world can have a good look at itself to see what happens next
Ok,
Ill try again.
From 1 to 10 being 1 the expectations of Ukraine to beat the russians on the field substantially diminished since January 2023 when an Ukranian offensive was expected and 10 the expectations of Ukraine to beat the russians on the field substantially increased since January 2023 when an Ukranian offensive was expected
At what point during our discussion have we agreed on a comparison point of January 2023? It seems as though you’ve deliberately picked the high water mark of the war (from Ukraine’s perspective), with the intention of then comparing today’s situation negatively to that. Where has January 2023 come from? Why not compare to March/April 2022 when Russia was at the edge of Kiev?
Can you see the point I’m making? You’ve picked an arbitrary point in the war, which, likely due to the significant Ukrainian gains of the previous 6-8 months, was probably when expectation was at its highest and naturally at its most unrealistic.
And I think you’ve done it purposely, with the intention of representing your negativity as realism.
That's already happening but no-one is saying 'what could we have done to help more?'You want to see more death and destruction just so the world can see annexation happen in real time?
I will have the same pain than the ukrainians from my confy bed, yeahThat's already happening but no-one is saying 'what could we have done to help more?'
Only feeling the pain together will help
Have a word with yourself.Part of me wishes this would end in Ukraine defeat so the world can have a good look at itself to see what happens next

Tell us how it ends then DementreI wish it happens to you personally, so you could realise what an idiotic comment this is
Tell us how it ends then Dementre
More than 900 schools, hospitals, churches and other institutions have been damaged or destroyed, the analysis shows, even though these sites are explicitly protected under the Geneva Conventions.

Yeah its about the point which the snowflakes don't get.Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face..... this is taking it to the extreme. Cutting your body off to spite your nose.
However. I do understand the point you are trying to make.
Whats so special about that one refinery?
I don't recall the tweet saying it was special. Did you ?
