Rugby World Cup 2015 | Reminiscing Thread

That Foley lad hits them good, doesn't he? Did he miss anything the whole game?

Put up a good fight for a while in the second half. Had it in the balance for a bit, before it went horribly wrong.

Time for people to forget Rugby exists till the next World Cup is on.

England's rugby team have somehow managed to be even bigger disappointments than the football team.

Tbf the football team won the WC when they hosted it. Even in the Euro they did reach the semi's

Nah, they've still a way to go before they can compete with the footballers, when it comes to tournaments.

This lot are far worse than the footballers. The football team at least have the excuse that there is proper competition from many countries. There's only about 9 serious rugby teams and most are a fraction of the size of England.

That was hard to watch at the end but it's a young English side with some good players and they'll bounce back. They need to uncover some back rowers from somewhere because they have some decent backs, some great locks and England will always produce front rowers.

Don't like to see the gloating. Australia were magnificent tonight and deserve plaudits rather than everyone just slamming England.

Japan beat the Springboks. England become the first hosts not to make the knock out stages. I'm sensing a trend here people. The ABs look human. If France beat Ireland put your money on them.
