Surprised there isn't a thread here already.

Cracking first test this morning (& not just because of the result :D).

Fair play to England to win after an awful start for them with Australia starting so well. @Phurry, how about making this thread the June internationals 2016 thread instead of just England vs Australia. Second test in Melbourne will be massive next weekend.

Both games this morning were amazing to watch. Wales were a lot closer than I guessed they'd be. The England result was immense after the pummelling they took in the first 15 mins. Glad I cycled 40km to watch both games in an Irish pub full of Antipodeans … the ride back was fun after all that beer too!

Expect the Boks to beat Ireland, not expecting a great game though.

Very good try from Ireland, getting good reward for fine start. Don't agree with Lood De Jager going to the bin though.

Can't see us winning but at least we're putting up a fair bit of fight.

Is Stander in big trouble here...

Edit: Woah. Big call.

Wrong call too. Yellow at best. Add to the SA that should not have stood with the Irish player being blocked.

Even as an England fan I'm rooting for Irish here. Ireland 7 points ahead with 17mins to go. Really hope they hang on be a hell of a win.

Hopefully Wales cane beat New Zealand, Australia to beat England just and South Africa will bounce back at Ellis Park vs Ireland. Wallabies will need to play for the full 80 this time and the Boks will need to improve massively in Johannesburg.

I want to see Damian McKenzie in an All Black jersey. If the ABs win this second test the third will be a dead rubber and Damian might get a game.

That reserve decision was so harsh against the Aussies, the rule needs looking at.

Our line speed is so impressive, Australia just can't get a foothold in the game.

That discrepancy between the official clock and the hooter is farcical … Vunipola looked up at the clock and put the ball out!
Yeah ridiculous. 'it is what is it is' was the official explanation from the ref. Great half though.

Brilliant. What a defensive display we've seen.

England deserve to win and it goes to show what happens though when you appoint an Aussie coach.

Minute to go in Melbourne and I'm gonna say Zero from 2 now  Think you've got the last one right … just!
