Rugby Union 23/24 Discussion

Ah OK. Good.
We have an excellent team on paper but we’re less than the sum of our parts. You have an excellent (arguably better) team on paper and are more than the sum of your parts

Cameron Redpath is so poor. There’s a reason he’s constantly a sub. Totally culpable of that try.

Why can’t it ever be an easy finish to a game for Scotland. So infuriating.

In both games today, I've been counting every time the ref says "Use it".

The 9s always just about get it away within the 5 seconds. Changing that to 3 seconds would make it a lot harder to do this stupid caterpillar technique.

Comfortable enough, no?
9pt lead.
Did you see that maul that they ended up being turned over? Did you see the penalty they’ve just given away? Did you see that were now at 14 men? So. Infuriating.

I know we’ll win, but it’s the way they do it that makes so bloody stressful as a Scotsman.

Honestly, Scotland just make it so fecking hard for themselves.

Pretty typically shit England game. On the attacking end played some good rugby, didn’t convert it into enough points. Defensively paper-thin at times and rubbish discipline….give away way more needless penalties than other teams

Hahahaha.

Hahahaha.

HahahahaHahahahaHahahahaHahahahaHahahahaHahahahaHahahahaHahahahaHahahahaHahahaha

He’ll go back to being shite next week, it’s just because it’s England.

“this rabble are drunk with hate of us”
At least he admitted he’s been shit kicking at Bath

Honestly, England probably played better than I thought they would. Scotland’s world class players showed up big time in moments and won them the game. They should be unbeaten now.

What a pish poor day of sport; watched United, some of Middlesbrough as we were unwatchable and then England crapping the bed in the rugby.

The South African is some player though.

Warbaton has absolutely nailed it in the post match referencing our shit U14 style of attacking rugby

We Were utter shite today. Nice to know we’re capable of winning against teams we should be beating despite the performance.

He is, anyone know what happened about his card? Yellow but they review and game ended, but don’t know if said yellow was fine

I know that we make it hard as feck for ourselves but it would have been fun to have a Scotland Vs Ireland showdown for the title if not for that France nonsense.

Or the ref saying "use it" means use the ball immediately.

In most games the ref would stop the game at that point I think. Restart with an attacking scrum.
Yes that would be convention….thats what I love about watching Top14….the rules are just a bit of arbitrary legislation to be taken with a pinch of salt. feck knows how Owen Farrells going to survive there….he’ll be sent off for arguing with the ref every other match

I really don't like Lucu as a starter. He is a good game manager but he lacks any ability to change pace.
