I dont watch much pro 14 at the moment. Is there a replay of that incident?

This was straight in. Did that one ride up from the initial contact into the neck at all?
I posted a tweet with the point of contact a few posts up there. Contact was straight to the chin.

Universally on Twitter that night everyone thought he should have walked, Connacht and Scarlets fans alike. It was the most bizarre decision and all on the TMO.

Well done Scotland, they have been pretty good.

What a crazy championship.

Before a ball was even kicked, if you’d have told told me we’d win in Twickenham & Paris, I’d have told you are absolutely deluded to even think about that, never mind say it.

That Wales defeat still hurts though. If only Zander never lost his discipline.....

Yes, except when they're brilliant.

They're maddeningly inconsistent.
That's the French all over though, isn't it? Pierre wakes up in his Paris apartment, stands looking out at the city whilst wearing nothing from the waist down, and then returns to his bedside table to light a cigarette, stroke the back of his buxom brunette girlfriend and contemplate what he will do with the day. He looks over to the half finished photorealistic painting of the Eiffel Tower, and the chemistry set where he's only a couple of days away from curing cancer, stubs out the cigarette and dejectedly mutters "......non." before returning to bed.

I confess to knowing nil about rugby and am not that interested, tbh, but aren't the French rugby team perennial massive bottlers?
That’s a bit harsh, the last 10 years the team has been bang average, it’s only with the youth coming through that has some top talent that you could say they have bottled it but that’s youth.

also in saying they have been average for 10 years that’s by the standards they should be held by as they have made a World Cup final in that time, but without that flair and Abundance of quality you would associate with France

No, they aren't. That would be the short answer.

1 Wales5 4 1 020
2France5 32 016
3Ireland 5 3 2 0 15
4 Scotland 5 3 2 0 15
5 England 5 2 3 0 10
6Italy 5 0 5 0 0

If England's and Wales' positions had been reversed, I wouldn't have been surprised (based on what I thought at the start of the tournament).

Ireland could have been fourth in that table too tonight. Very small margins.

England fifth without bringing the team on for the future much is very poor though.

What a wonderful way to live, alas, it is but a dream for me.:(

Seriously Rugby has been a lot more fun than football in the last 12 months.
It is though. Not just international but the domestic leagues as well. I go from being on the edge of my seat watching random domestic matches, to watching football, even United....and being bored shitless in no time.

Most other sports I follow are more entertaining than football now . It's not just because United aren't good but I can't remember the last time I saw a La Liga or Serie a game from start to finish while I watch so many Rugby/NFL/NBA games these days .

I generally like Rugby more than football, I go to as much games as possible but football wasn't that far from Rugby until 2020. Currently I could genuinely not watch football for a year and not care.

I'll list out the Lions team I think Gatland will start (Not necessarily the team I'd start) because I'm guessing a few people on here might be interested in predicted line-ups:

1. Wyn Jones (South Africa are going to destroy him in the scrum and there are better scrummagers around but this is Gatland after all)
2. Ken Owens
3. Tadhg Furlong
4. Maro Itoje
5. Alun Wyn Jones (c) (I think James Ryan is the better player right now but again, this is Gatland we are talking about)
6. Tom Curry (Hard to pick this one as Curry is better suited to 7; I think it should be either Curry or Beirne but Gatland might include Tipuric or Navidi)
7. Hamish Watson
8. Taulupe Faletau
9. Ali Price (Weakest position within the Lions' squad)
10. Dan Biggar (Might be Farrell instead but hard to know at this stage so went for the Welsh player)
11. Anthony Watson (Gatland might go for Josh Adams or Liam Williams here)
12. Robbie Henshaw
13. Jonathan Davies (Ringrose might be a better shout here but think Gatland will go for Davies)
14. Louis Rees-Zammit
15. Stuart Hogg

Who do you watch, aren’t you somewhere near Toulouse?

I'm from Montpellier, who happens to be shoddy this season.
Ah ok. My family has a small flat about 45 mins north of Toulon, I’m hoping to get down there for a holiday during the top14 season sometime when the world reopens. My french has to improve a bit first though :(

Can’t see Price making the team. Definitely agree that the scrum half spot is the weakest.

Wingers - Rees-Zammit for certain on the right. Despite England’s abysmal performance in this 6 nation’s, Jonny May still worth being a starter on the left? Duhan VDM another shout?

I've predicted Watson but who really knows? I actually think this is going to be quite a weak Lions starting XV compared with previous years which probably makes it even harder to predict.
