Well they did concede 3 quick penalties in a short time, that many in that time in that area of the pitch will/should result in penalising.

The Wales game was a farce.
Yeah I'd lean that way too. I prefer teams who are killing a sequence of possible tries to get a yellow sooner rather than later.

How lucky were Ireland that Hugo Keenan arrived when Kearney retired? Amazing timing.

Hope we're as lucky with the likes of Crowley when Sexton goes.
Keenan is lowkey world-class, its good he's getting the recognition he deserves

I think it’s also to do with the more black and white rules within rugby. It’s easier to apply the VAR.

Football is still a contact sport but it’s rules are much more fluffy around what makes a foul a foul, and it’s these grey areas are the ones that cause such controversy. Football just seems a lot more subjective.

Yeah, fair assessment I would say

Are they using weird balls with world Cup? The unforced handling errors are unreal

Need the TMO to start highlighting some of these tackles. Putting Irish players at risk by not doing so.

What are you seeing?
I thought there was a dropped elbow in the face about ten mins ago where Ireland gave away a penalty.
Lack of replays again

Thought I seen 3 high hits in 3 minutes. Baird seemed to definitely be hit high. Like you said though I could be wrong, the lack of replays is a farce.

Super performance and seemingly no injuries. Really hope Bealham is ok. SA is going to be some game. Delighted with that.

Bloody hell mate, you feeling ok?
Think that’s the first post I’ve seen you happy with your teams rugby

 even I can have no complaints so far. Great decision now for Farrell to look to close the game out early with the first team too. Always a risk but injuries can happen anytime.

Only caught the second half but they looked very good. Short game, expansive game, set piece….all seems to be on song
Most pleasing thing about that was our lineout clicking into gear. That’s been my one big concern coming into the tournament.
It’s going to need to be against South Africa, they completely dismantled Scotlands lineout last week, it won’t get a sterner examination
