Roy Keane

It's so sweet seeing a man of Roy's age in love all over again. He's got a serious hard on for ETH and being serious for a second it's nice to see so much respect.
Wouldn’t be so hard if ETH was losing these games. Wining matches does wonderful things to people!

Really like these vids recently you can see ETH respects Keane. He's asked a question and seems to direct the answer at Keane.
Also keep noticing how one of them adjusts their feet and they all do it spreading like a wave. Generally at the start of the vids.

Having veteran players like Keane on the mic is enormously powerful for EtH. Because Keane probably reinforces what they're hearing from the manager. After that game vs Brentford there was no escape for these players, so by the time they arrived that day to run that 13km I am sure they were happy to do it. I would be.

There were a couple takes that week that were comical, with media types acting like it was a mistake to make them run on a Sunday. But I am sure the players care what these veteran players think, I mean how could they not. And in a club like this you want to fit in and be talked about among the greats, or at the very least not be a guy they're singling out to criticize because your effort isn't there. So there was probably a lot more willingness to work their butts off and turn it around than people gave them credit for.

Really good watch this

On karate kicking a tactics board
"I don't know if it made the players feel better but it made me feel better"

Being linked to WBA. I always hoped he'd get the Celtic job, but I do want to see him go back into management.

He’s better off staying away from management tbh. If it’s goes pear shaped which it probably will , he have to come crawling back to sky again.

Takes either bravery or stupidity to ask Keane for a selfie. I reckon if I ever see him in person, I'd nod my head, maybe mutter something like "hi Roy, big fan" and be on my way.

I think he should go for it. It's something he's mentioned in the past that he'd like to give it a go again. I'd admire him for doing it, it's easy to sit in studio like Carragher and Neville telling managers what they are doing wrong. A lot harder to go in and manage a club. If he does well, happy days, if he fails, at least he give it a go. Going into a struggling club, he could give them the bounce he had at Sunderland. Nothing worse, than if looks back in 20 years time, wishing he had of given management one last shot.

They'd welcome him back with open arms though.

Being a failed manager doesn't mean you can't be a pundit.

Loves Cristiano doesn’t he? Has huge respect for him, haven’t heard him speak/defend another player like that before

Yeah, anyone else does what Ronaldo did and he’d be absolutely hammering them.

I love Keane, but that was embarrassing from him.

Even played down what was an excellent performance on Wednesday night, I don't agree with his defence of Ronaldo.

This week has been a Ronaldo slurping competition and Keane has just advanced to No.1.

Embarrassing stuff from him.

Agreed, suprising from him though as I normally agree with most of the things he talks about, but clearly what Ronaldo is doing is ridiculous. He even downplayed the great performance against Spurs.

Never thought we’d see the day that big man Roy Keane would be a measly, pathetic, arse-licking little bastard.

Not surprising. He's another ex-player who has no clue what he's talking about. People think he likes to tell it how it is but he's a sell-out and not much different from the likes of Souness.

He also tried to be a manager/coach and failed miserably.

A lot of Fergie era greats bending over backwards to make a case that one man should, in fact, be bigger than the club.

Feck all these past United players. If that was Pogba they'd be killing him but it's someone they played with and ETH isn't in that club so it's "feck him for disciplining a player that refused to play and then walked off" HUH? What?

Who's the only one that would even talk up in favor of ETH at this point? Ruud? But then people would just claim Dutch bias or some shite.

Keane made it known after the Spurs game that he isn't a fan of ETH. Said that match had nothing to do with how we played and it was all Spurs being shite. Doubt he'd be saying that if his buddy Solskjaer was still in charge and we had that type of performance.
