He deserves the testimonial that he is getting. He has been the face of United during all his time here and has contributed to a lot of success during that time.
I think it's on BTCan't find any Tv channel broadcasting this. Am I missing something? Twitter says it will be streamed live on Facebook. That's a new and depressing future I want no part of...

Through the official United page?
Suppose there'll be the usual crop of "oh no, Wazza's playing is he undroppable or what?" posts when the sides are announced!
Rooney announced on his FB that the match will be streamed on his and ManUtd FB page.

You may joke but there'll be hundreds of requests on here at 19:00 BST tonight from people that haven't bothered to go through the thread. PS: If you're serious let me know and I'll find oneany illegal streams? I kinda got used to a dodgy restitution, spyware and offers from my distant uncle from Africa.
That's the spirit!Should probably put that is being streamed on Facebook in the title. Give people enough notice throughout the day so that the only time the word 'river' makes an appearance tonight is when we are all demanding we ship that useless sack of shit Rooney off to River Plate.
Wow, people actually trying to claim Rooney isn't a United legend. Okay... No room for debate on Wayne being a legend, the number of goals he's contributed alone makes his claim indisputable. Not to mention it's very insulting and pretty pathetic to be doing it before a game that's set up to celebrate his career. Like it or not Rooney has been a major part of our success for the last decade and deserves a lot more respect. The claim that he wanted to leave means he isn't a legend is total bs. Ronaldo forced a move, van Nistelrooy wanted to leave, don't see many claiming either of them isn't a legend.
Only the build up and post match is on MUTV, they only have radio commentary of the actual game. The game is on BT.Im fairly sure I have it set to record on MUTV, if its not on what have I set to record?
Are any retired players featuring in this, or is it just our touring squad? Is Rooney doing the half the match for each side thing?
I reckon we are going to take the match on Sunday pretty seriously, so don't expect to see over commitment or many slide tackles, also a lot of subs.hope he's benched..
on a more serious note... is the game taken serious as a preparation game or will it more be an exhibition game, I guess former as there is no legends joining the sides and we lack that one game but we could field some youngsters again, hopefully..

I think most players donate it to charity these days, but that doesn't lessen the generosity of it. Any contribution to such worthy causes should be commended.Could have gone to this but I had to go back home and work. Should be a good day out. I am not sure how many do the whole "charity" thing when it comes to these kinds of testimonials but I've been impressed with how much Wayne's PR team has been banging that drum in the leadup to it. Glad it is all for a good cause, great player and a great career so far. Hopefully it isn't over!
