Yeah. Remember LVG saying that last year was going to be the season of Luke Shaw and it looked like it really was until that awful night. Brilliant to see him back again.
We got better and better in that game, it has been frustrating though. Everton have organised their defence well.
Enertaining first half. Wish Mata was in for Lindguard. That short pass game suits Juan perfectly and Ibra seems like he enjoys that as well.. Might be a fun pairing from time to time this year.

Enjoyable performance.. Zlatan has been excellent in general play - very impressed. Rooney doing quite well tbh.. everyone was linking up well.
I still think that Rooney and Valencia are our main culprits in making us unthreatening I.e. a dynamic 10 could allow Ibra to focus more up top but their build up play was good.

Lukaku is garbage on the ball. Only time he ever keeps hold of it is if he gets a lucky rebound when getting tackled.

We have to sign a player who is good at shooting from distance, and plays in midfield. He'll get planty of chances if we play like that and rivals set so deep.
Watching the first game of the preseason, and Zlatan is just amazing! We look generally dominant against Everton and could have had a goal or two. Martial isn't having the best of the games so far.

Not sure I agree with this. Look a lot more lively than under LvG. Lots of interchange of position - Maybe Rooney and Ibra occupy the same space a little too often, but that is something to work on in training i guess.

it's just clever run from a striker between the two, Blind didn't do that bad positioning wise, he's just too short for a great cross and great run, Mike would have cleared it

I think we have played quite well but the pace is almost walking pace at times. Its a bit worrying as Mourinho said to treat this like a Prem match.
It did feel like we were up against a brick wall. We build up the play well but we just can't get through them at the back.
