The argument I suppose!

Alles is vergeten.
All is forgotten.

And according to most, he is not even 100% yet, i'm telling you this guy is worth every penny, we would have to pay for him and as Ian Wright said, a 75% Ronaldo is better than most strikers in the world.

It would be unbelievable. We'd take some flak for his hair cut and teeth - but after 40 + goals I dont think we'd worry too much.

RVN and Ronaldo - with the rejuvinated Veron supplying the bullets.... dreamy stuff :D

It's a potty scenario, but if the PLC get the wallet out, we'd score goals by the bucket load. It's going to need the sale of Scholes though I'm affraid to get the decent CB.

But:

-------------------- Barthez ---------------------

-- GNev --- Ferdinand ----- Blanc --- Silvestre --

-- Beckham ---- Verón ----- Keane ------- Giggs --

------------- RVN ------------ Ronaldo -----------

:D :D :D ;)

Of all the Brazilians,Ronaldo is the best of the lot.Seems gracious enough.Never complains from what I've seen. Not like that plastic face bastard Rivaldo.

And Ronaldo's Brazil strike partner Rivaldo is already drooling at the prospect. "A team with him Zidane, Raul, Roberto Carlos and Figo would be something else," said the Barcelona star.

yeah like he drools over his rivals getting world class players.

BTW that Nike deal is over hyped the money will get to the plc and stay there.

No, not at all

50 shots wide per game make him look a cnut

I Weaste and Giggggzzy had their way we'd play in yellow and blue and sign all of their WC squad...

Or any other South Americans that do well in the WC

Not sure it is him going after more, probably the unscrupulous agent using Real's alleged offer of 10M GBP a year! (~200K a week  or ?). It's Real, mmmm, !

I'm sure you are right mate. The agents are the true scum. I seriously think capping should be introduced though. The money in football and many other sports for that matter is ridiculous. Anyway, I'll dream on.......

If the amount of money suggested is true, I would not be surprised (it would actually make sense) if a certain amount per year is tied to transfer kitty so that Nike can get greater guaranteed spin-offs from the deal with an influx of much hyped stars.
