Ronaldo Hints At United Return

Titantic sunk hitler

Yeah, I don't make much of it

You should change you're user name to "Muppet Dreams" if you think Ronaldo or even Mourinho himself will be rolling up here. The only chance of your wish coming true is if we draw them in the CL and duly get spanked.

You're a right little bundle of joy aren't you?

I've always felt he'd be back at Old Trafford. Would love to see him back, to be honest, even though he's cnut.

Better than living in cloud cuckoo land.

I'd be shocked if Gill and Sir Bobby plumped for Jose. As for Cristiano...not even a smidgen of a chance.

Actually I think I'd prefer to have a little faith in my team than be such a pessimist.... 'duly get spanked', why even bother following football.

He's only a cnut on the pitch. Seems like a decent bloke off the pitch.

To be honest though, I wouldn't care if he killed children, I'd still take him back.

Exagerration...I'd still back them to beat us over two legs though if I had to put money on it.

Oh, @RD, you're entitled to your opinion but it's extremely farfetched to think that we'll click our fingers and Mourinho will come, then add the notion that he'll have Ronaldo tucked away in his suitcase, and you can see how unlikely it is.

I'd love it if you were right though.

tbf no one really knows what will happen at United. Would most have predicted the Rooney saga?

We all thought he was going to be with us for life, meaning no drama like we just had.

Fergie may well be around another 5 or 6 years at the club. But even he cannot fight the 'force' ;) Ronaldo may still come even without Maurinho. I think he knows he was always supported here unlike the fickle Real fans. He would have fulfilled his childhood ambition of playing for Real...and moved on.

Or Bebe may turn out to be soooooooooo good we would have forgotten Ronaldo :D

Is it just me or has his english got better since he left us?

Don't you know? He's been round Jose's every night since the summer, they practice English together, have fish and chips for dinner, with the Stone Roses playing in the background, all in preparation for their journey to Manchester once Fergie has gone, where upon arrival they will be showered in roses and dafodils ;)

I don't think we can afford him. He's going to be close on 500k per week at the end of the six years, isn't he? And tax rates are half as much as in the UK? He'd have to take a huge wage cut and we probably can't afford the transfer fee. Maybe at the end of his career but I doubt we'll see him back any time soon.

If we're still a top club in a few years' time, and Mourinho has taken over from Fergie, I wouldn't rule out a Ronaldo return.

This whole post is pretty much nonsense but what the feck is the bold part? We'll always be a top club, whether we're amazing or a pile of wank at any given time :wenger:

What's with this joker? I like him even more after he left us.

Please come back. All is forgiven.

Perhaps Madrid will be broke in 3-4 years and will have to sell their best players, Amen.

Yes ofcourse because Madrid have a wonderful recent record in Europe, winning it once and being runners up once in the last 3 years while we've not gotten past the 1st knockout round in some 6-7 years. Oh wait

Gill has already said in an interview it would be hard to look beyond Jose as manager,..who else is there?

I don't recall that at all, the most Gill has ever said is that he's a good manager, which anyone with a half a brain cell would know.

I find Bobby Charlton's view on the man and his potential to manage United a lot more interesting..."He's got a talent but I don't see him here" and "what would happen with the youth" were two remarks that indicate to me that Mourinho won't be OT bound.

what did he mean? no youth policy?

Yeah, like all that matters a jot . How did AC Milan(2 times winners, once finalists, and 2 times semi-finalists during the Madrid drought you refer to) fare over the last couple of weeks against Madrid? 1 point out of a possible 6 is how, by your logic they should have brushed Madrid aside due to previous superiority in CL. Madrid's recent underachievement matters not one iota and is bound to change soon.

Besides, I already explained that I was exagerrating so just do one with your pointless statistics.

what did he mean? no youth policy?

I think he meant he was concerned that the chances for the youngsters would dry up. A fair observation considering Jose's scratchy track record regarding youth development.

He gave Santon a chance at Inter, said he was the new Maldini, and duly dropped him for most of last season. That's about it really in terms of him even remotely producing and developing a young talent.

if Jose does want to come, and the signs are that he does, he'll make the appropriate vows and promises to continue the youth ethos. His history has been too much of a Mr Fixit for him to lay down roots in youngsters at previous clubs. That is the real concern for me. Would we be another step in his whistle-stop tour of European clubs or finally, his spiritual home? I would like it to bethe latter because he ticks all the boxes for me.
