Glad he's back but I have higher hopes for Martial as a CF
Play him and not make the same mistake we made against Bristol.
I think he could start to interchange with Martial for the forward position. Some people have said they think Lukaku is better suited on the wing as well. He's actually quite dangerous when running at defenders 1v1 and he wouldn't have to rely on hold up play. It would be a similar situation to the Everton game with Lingard and Martial interchanging causing the opposition defenders quite a lot of bother.
I would still rest him for Derby and bring back him for Stoke.

I would still liked to have seen us for a few more games without him up top just to see how we adapted, he took his goal well but I think we looked less fluid in attack when he came on.

Lukaku is very good at carry ball forward, he is powerful runner. It's one of his strengths, shame we don't use that often.
It's funny how so many of his chances end up being on his right foot
thought he did well overall tonight. was involved a good bit, some nice player with the ball and showed he wasn't scared to have the ball in the final third outside the box. I know it's been mentioned we might be better playing the passing game up top and keeping him out of the side but I think we'd be great playing a passing game with him up top.
Let's hope he gets on a run of beasting defences like that for the second half of the season.
The centre forward play he showed in the run up to his goal. All I can say is ‘respect.’ That’s the Lukaku we want to see.
Played well when he came on. Hopefully he can hit top form again. I thought he played well recently too even if he didn't score against Burnley.
Well it's a good thing we aren't a Mercedes then, we'll do fine without fluids so long as we score more goals than the opposition.

Great 45 minutes for him today 
Nice play for the goal. As usual, he's very good with counters. It's when we're facing a wall of defenders that he lets me down. Set up Lingard's goal with a nice flick in that exact situation though, so fair play.
How many goals is that for him for us this season? Looks on course to beat Zlatan’s efforts last season.
Showed his game today. Pace and power. He’s more suited to ball on the ground, played in front him him. Long ball for him to take down (bar the goal funnily enough!) with back to goal just isn’t him. Crosses into the box of course as well.
Just cut out using him as a Zlatan style striker, and he will do well here.

Romelu is such a dangerous player. If you're super cynical you'd say he hasn't scored enough goals. BUT! If you look at the amount of chances he's got this season, I think he has done very well. Today is a perfect example of his importance to this team. It seems like people don't recognize his contribution.

Looks like our Corner set up is changed, Lukaku wasn't in the box defending, he was in the position to counter attack.
That didn't occur to me somehow. Hopefully a permanent change. Tired of it going to Mata.

Lukaku's is getting better and better.
That chest control was brilliant as well, the ball was shot towards him from Pogba and his decision making after that was a breath of fresh air.

It was a good move between him and Martial although he almost lost the chance with that first touch, thankfully he managed to get a shot off.
