He is wank in general at the moment, but I find that he is especially wank after 70 minutes when he is knackered. He really should be subbed.
 
From when we signed him, the vultures were circling waiting for their moment. For me his build up play has been much better than I thought and the first time touch to Martial is the week for the goal was superb....
 
Impossible task last 15 minutes.

I don't think his link-up play is a problem. It's pretty good. Better than I thought.

But his hold-up play is worse than I thought. Like that instance when he beat Kosc in the end and was potentially through on goal. He should almost always out-muscle a CB that. He manhandled Kosc during that encounter. Need more of that. He loses so many 50-50 duels through poor body usage and a poor 1st touch.
 
He put in an absolutely superb shift today.

Great team stuff lately.

You must have thought his build up play was non league level.
 
was good today. Did well with whatever he got. Linked well for the second goal and his run drew two defenders and left pogba unmarked for the first.
 
I thought he had a very good game.

Context of the game needs to be considered when judging his performance.
 
I know he's not scoring but he's becoming much more of a factor in our build up play. I didn't think he had it in him to contribute this much in general play.
 
A bit worrying that he still doesnt score. that said he still had a good impact on the game imo and made at least one of the goals possible. also he worked his arse off and was superb in defense when he needed to.
 
had a very good game, given the context and gameplan.

Im not worried about lack of goals, as they are coming from other places.

He'll get back into the goals soon enough, but as long as he contributes in the meantime, he remains a key player.
 
He has a wickedly poor touch, amazing really. It’s like his boots are made of concrete, the ball just bounces 10 yards away
 
Overall good Performance. A bit unfortunate as strikers are measured based on their Goals Count but I think his link up Play keeps improving.
 
The funny thing is he's been the catalyst for most of our counter goals over the last month.
He's the one fizzing the ball into Martial / Lingard the way we expect Pogba to do
 
even his mate pogba stopped passing to him tonight, and the size of the guy and he can't hold up the ball
 
Thought he was very good. Could have helped the defence out more when we went down to ten men. But a good display.

He will knock in a few some day.
 
It's good to know that there are others out there who can see he played well and look past his goal drought.

He was instrumental in our counter attacking play in the last couple of games, and he's not being carried by the team at all. That's my main worry when you have a striker in a dry spell.

Hopefully a couple will bounce in off his portly arse soon. I reckon he'd go on a another scoring run then.
 
There must be a change of tactics recently. He's playing a lot deeper, something like a false 9. I think that has decreased his goal return.
 
I don't agree that he played good today. For hold up play we might as well stick Fellaini up there.

He is slow and sloppy, should be doing much better overall. Wouldn't mind benching him and giving Zlatan a good run up top.
 
I thought he had a decent game, very loose on the ball and can't hold it up but he made a lot of good runs and pressed well, plus had a part in the first goal.
 
I think he did well. Fantastic effort for the team as well.
 
Did a lot better with the ball on the ground then he did with aerial duels. Really disappointed at him being a bit useless in the air considering his size. But did well overall, linked up really well with Martial and Lingard. There's not a single doubt about it IMO, Martial brings out the best in him for sure. Lukaku just looks a lot more talented on the ball when linking up with him compared to no martial being on the pitch.
 
Not concerned! He needs a goal but he is still leading the line very effectively. Did well for Lingard's first.

I think he was very good, for both goals. I think although he might not be scoring, he is doing a wonderful job at bringing others into play. I also saw atleast three ocassions where he should have been put through on goal but lingard did not have confidence in his ability to make a through pass. Goals will come for him and he is due one, so maybe against city we see him score.
 
Works his socks off but lacks the basics and doesn't seem able to create his own chances.
 
He did well today considering our game plan and set up. He’ll score the winner against City.
