True but we are linked to him? Plus we seem to be going for players under the age of 20.We haven't signed him. Transfer rumours in March with us must have a 99% nonsense rate.

I just think it’s a weird question to ask how he’d fare against cbs like Van de ven, when the reality is that he won’t be directly competing against them to often.I'd imagine quite often if the wingback is cutting into the middle on his left. Depends how inverted he is I guess.
promote Fred Heath, Jim Thwaites and Albert Mills, and get this guy.Roger is a superb name that has sadly fallen out of favour in recent times. This is the guy to bring it back.
Wingback. This system doesn’t have wingers per se. It has 2 number 10s and 2 wingbacks supplying the forwardWill he be a wingback or a CAM/RW in this system?
Roger thatThis is going to hurt Bruno.
Roger Fernandes.
Ye but our number 10s often drift out wide. Especially when it’s garnacho in one of them positions. A winger in the 10 position don’t work. Zirkzee and Amad stay in the actual central positions.Wingback. This system doesn’t have wingers per se. It has 2 number 10s and 2 wingbacks supplying the forward

Plus we have Amad who has no issues holding his own against the majority of defenders.I just think it’s a weird question to ask how he’d fare against cbs like Van de ven, when the reality is that he won’t be directly competing against them to often.
I’m assuming the guy was getting at height. But that’s not going to be an issue for a wingback
You’re saying this system doesn’t use wingers so you recon we’d be playing this guy at wingback yet I’m saying when garnacho plays in one of the 10s he’s more like a winger. So this guys most likely to play in the front 3. Otherwise Garnacho would have been tried at RWB and we’d be saving money. What’s this got to do with the wingback?
He plays as a winger & wingback. We’re looking for a wingback but like Quenda, one who can make a difference going forward. RA likes one of his wingbacks to have winger skills. But, We’re not buying him to play as a winger under Amorim. You’re saying this system doesn’t use wingers so you recon we’d be playing this guy at wingback yet I’m saying when garnacho plays in one of the 10s he’s more like a winger. Only if we can bring Wesley Brown, Gary Neville, Eric Bailly and Edwin Van Der Sar back in from the cold please.promote Fred Heath, Jim Thwaites and Albert Mills, and get this guy.
We can have Fred, Jim, Harry, Patrick, Albert, Roger and Antony in our 11. Great stuff!
TotallyIs this why we did Brexit?
Garnacho's case is weird, his positioning is a compromise as it requires the WB to inverted into the #10 to allow him to stay out wide, which isn't great because putting someone like Dalot there doesn't really help us much going forwardYou’re saying this system doesn’t use wingers so you recon we’d be playing this guy at wingback yet I’m saying when garnacho plays in one of the 10s he’s more like a winger. Garnacho's particular interpretation of the role makes the prospect of either Mazraoui or, primarily, Amad appealing as the wingback on that side.Garnacho's case is weird, his positioning is a compromise as it requires the WB to inverted into the #10 to allow him to stay out wide, which isn't great because putting someone like Dalot there doesn't really help us much going forward
Which is why, unless he can truly transform into a #10, he'll probably never really have a future here as long as Amorim is the manager. The situation right now is just us make do with whatever we have now
Fair enough. Just I’ve only seen him at RW for Braga. Quenda we knew was going to come in and play RWB as he did under Amorim at sporting. We definitely need that attacking threat from RWB so makes sense playing a winger there. Aslong as he’s decent at defending also.He plays as a winger & wingback. However if he was replaced as coach he could play as a winger in a more traditional formation if required
I thought and I’m sure others did aswell that Amorim would transform Garnacho into a wing back. I mean we have seen his defensive side improve from when he first came onto the scene. If he’d been training on the left side then it would allow him to come into the 10 position and get shots away which would allow the actual 10 to overlap on the left. Or since we now have Dorgu, get him training on the right side and let him overlap the 10 on that side and his assists should shoot upGarnacho's case is weird, his positioning is a compromise as it requires the WB to inverted into the #10 to allow him to stay out wide, which isn't great because putting someone like Dalot there doesn't really help us much going forward

I don’t think Garnacho envisions himself as a wingback no matter how attacking it is. He wants to be the second coming of Ronaldo.I thought and I’m sure others did aswell that Amorim would transform Garnacho into a wing back. Not sure of source , but guy looks rapid and scored a few bangers
If he wants to stay here then surely he’ll accept the managers plans and decisions.I don’t think Garnacho envisions himself as a wingback no matter how attacking it is. He wants to be the second coming of Ronaldo.

I think this summer is the year of low risk, high reward.
If cheap, talented and have the right attributes for the squad - crack on.
It's not the time for low risk players though, we need players that are ready for the Premier League now.
We are currently 15th in the table, if we sign a load of young players that aren't ready for this level, we will find ourselves in a relegation battle next season.
