To be honest, a lot of Van Persie's goals are accredited to some fantastic link up with Song. Shame we can't sign him.
Didn't have any opinion on RvP as a person before today to be honest, but judging by the presser and the interview he seems like a very decent guy. As Andrew~ said, the journos were trying to make him say something bad about Arsenal, so they could get a headline but he turned it completely around instead and spoke highly of the club and thanked them all for his time there. Was very pleasant to hear that a player can move to a rival club without feeling the need to criticise the former club. Definitely earned more respect from me than he would have if he had taken digs at Arsenal.

And with Rooney too behind him. Rooney has taken the main man lead being very greedy and getting outmarked a lot of the time, now he has someone older on par with his abilities, Rooney may well gift Van Persie with a lot of opportunities.

Rooney is a lot of things but I'd never describe him as greedy.
No one make a fat joke, just don't.
Except for when he forgets the world exists around him and goes for 'the chip' it is getting annoying now. Part of me prays that he scores with one at least this way he can stop doing it every game.
