Buying descent players has gotten us were we are today if we want to compete with the likes of City we need to look for better players than Mahrez. We have a bunch of money to spend so I think we should aim higher then Mahrez.
Don't want to see us spend big money on him. Could be a good addition but would not be good business in my opinion.
Not fit to knit his socks. He'd be a threat to Mata's starting spot.
Not fit to knit his socks.
He'd be a perfect victim for van Gaal.
What?
What?
The next candidiate for destruction i.e. removing every inch of flair.
Hmmm? Our squad is pretty thin on attacking outlets, some of our players do look shattered and it's clear Champions League football among other things is taking its toll on them. I'd take him in January on that basis as well as the fact that he offers something different and actually runs at defenders.
Would be great to have him on the opposite side of Martial:
Memphis
Martial Herrera Mahrez
I'm still a bit wary tbh. Valencia had quite a good time in Wigan and his first two years here and look how he is now.
Would rather we try for the absolute best first before taking punts again. Chuck £100m at Neymar and his Dad, or pay Griezmann release clause.
I think he means a flashy player who will get a few dribbles wrong, get dropped, then be a victim of an attempt to make him a philosophy system player which will inevitably fail. Shipped out to Nantes for quarter of a price within 24 months.
I don't think Mahrez or Vardy suits United present playing style under LvG. I suspect Leicester's style playing on the break suit their assets perfectly well. United generally have a lot of ball, and with opposition playing very deep they'd both be unable to use their pace to good effect.
Mane is a much better prospect.
