If we can't get Sancho then Pepe wouldn't be a bad alternative. I'm not really sure how much Lille would want for him though but I'm guessing £50m+ if we would come calling.
Good idea but the problem is we won't get that much amount on our players and will have to pay more for these players.
Mata: Free
Sanchez: 15-22M
Lukaku: 50M
Pepe: 50M
Dybala: 100M+
Sancho: 80M
I knew someone was going to say that, but as you also said, it is a good idea. We should aim now to make something like that happen, is my point. We don't know exactly how much players are going to cost, or what we are able to get for our players. Lukaku going down to 50m isn't realistic and neither is Sanchez, we wouldn't want to sell at that price. It doesn't matter, we need to get better at dealing with transfers. I feel most clubs are selling their players reluctantly for big money but we have to practically beg clubs to buy ours. I know some of the reasons on why that is, but we need to flip it.Good idea but the problem is we won't get that much amount on our players and will have to pay more for these players.

A specialist right winger would be ideal for United, as it's been a bit of a problem for a while now.
However, adding to the forward options has to be looked at carefully, as top-loading with options would lead to pathways for Chong and Greenwood being blocked.
Personally can only see United adding a forward if the likes of Sanchez and Mata leave. One left-field suggestion which would work is David Brooks at Bournemouth IMO. He may not be a big name (yet) but he is an outstanding young footballer who is proving to be a big threat at Premier League level. As a left-footed wide player who comes in from the right hand side he would offer a decent balance to the team too. I suspect many would want a bigger name though.

We honestly don’t need anymore attacking players. Prioritize defense especially fullbacks then midfield.

That's why we need a director of football who can get us good deals. Woodward is not good at that. Also the way Lukaku played at wings against Arsenal, I think we should try to develop him into a winger. He can cross the ball, has good speed and strength and can hug the line. We have remaining of season for that and I have confidence that Solskjaer can do it.
He is a much better fit positioning himself out wide than centrally because we risk a counter after constantly losing the ball when trying to involve him in the play there, where as out wide if he misses his touch it's a throw in. However, I agree we should be looking to improve on him.Lukaku as a permanent RW? No way.
Sell him and buy an actual RW like Sancho and we'll be so much better
Nicholas Pepe.... fast, left-footed, skilful, tall and only 23... He's basically the left footed Martial
Why haven't we looked at Nicolas Pepe? The guy looks terrific and his stats are pretty good. It doesn't seem like anyone is in the market for him. Lille are apparently 2nd in the table and Pepe has scored 15 goals in 22 games for them with 7 assists... He's only 23 years of age and predominately left footed and plays on the RW where we lack.
If we don't go for a big signing like Dybala, Pepe is my no 1 in terms of a relative unknown.
I seriously think our top 2 priorities should be a CM and CB.
Once we have that In place, then a RB and RM.

100% this. A luxury player who will cost a bomb. We don't need a 10 IMO.Dybala is the most overrated player in the world.
Dybala hasn't really done that much for me to believe that he will light up OT. On top of that, he will come here with a huge price tag on huge wages and if he doesn't click, it's going to take a while to get him off our books. As for Pepe, he's a lot quicker than Dybala. He's an actual winger unlike Dybala who will most likely drift in and congest the middle. Dybala has always played a supporting role and has never been the stand out player for a team like Juve that wins titles for fun. I mean Dybala is the most over-rated player in my opinion. Pepe whose relatively unknown will cost less and he looks like the hard-working winger with tonnes of flair and is only 23. He's already making waves in Ligue 1 with his performances and he's only 2 goals behind top scorer Mbappe. I think he would be an amazing replacement for Mata. The other thing is with Pepe, he would be fine sitting out games unlike Dybala who will come here with more demands. It'll be very difficult to balance so many egos in the team.
Pepe would be my No. 1 choice. The guy would gel instantly in the counter-attacking manner of playing. Dybala is more like a 10 like Mata and honestly speaking, Mata was never a United type of player in the way we play. Just to clarify, we depend heavily on wing play which Mata and Dybala are not.
You think Juve would sell for less than Liverpool sold Coutinho and Dortmund sold Dembele? Some of the figures people speak about for Dybala are laughable, some saying he'll go for 120m plus, no bloody chance he goes for anywhere close to that on his recent form. I'd take him for a similar price to Lukaku, he's much better and would suit us a lot more.
Sancho 2020
If we cant spend big on Sancho, I’m not sure when we can..

Sancho is just as quick and skilful as Pepe, he would just be much more expensive.I'd prefer Pepe over Sancho due to profile of player. He is a serious player in the making imo, has all the technical and physical requirements to make it at a top club. Sancho is more adept at finding his team mates and linking up the play which is something I don't think would suit our team. I think that Sancho would be a proper upgrade on Lingard, but Pepe would add a completely new string to our bow with his trickery, pace and goalscoring.

Apparently Pepe did an interview last year saying the only premier league club he would join is Chelsea. Whether he would really mean that though if the option came..
I’d love a group of martial/sancho/Lingard/Rashford/Pogba to drive us forward.
When I’ve watched him I felt that his biggest strength was his control of the ball. I get how you see it’s lucky breaks when dribbling but what I see is that it is his style and it’s extremely effective and unique. His ability to present the ball to a defender and then take a touch or dragback or ball roll to get past them with a burst of acceleration is of a high quality, and it works almost every time. It’s a joy to watch down the right.Does anyone else feel that when they are watching Pepe he’s never really in control of the ball? Just feel like he is always getting past people due to lucky breaks of the ball or he is just stretching to get things. It’s all very chaotic, just not entirely convinced he has the ability to play for a big team.

No we couldn't recoup our fee. There are literally maybe 4 teams in the world that could pay 75 million and he is not good enough to start for any of them. We would never sell to City so you can drop that list down to 3 (Barca. PSG and RM). Bayern would never pay that kind of money for any player and Juve have Ronaldo and are a bunch of cheap mofos anyway.Lukaku may have his weaknesses but is still a very good player chances of us losing money on his transfer fee are very low ,I am quite confident despite our fan base not rating Lukaku we would easily recoup our money If he is put up for sale in summer.

Agree to disagree let's wait for summer If Lukaku is on the market we won't be booking loss on him, Chelsea were ready to pay big fee for him and there could be other teams who might become interested as well if we decide to sell him .
