As far as I know there is only one PS3 review thread here, and I made it, and it was from arstechnica. The machine has changed since launch, that is why mainstream media are re-reviewing it.

In case you dont remember, I took your advise and went ahead and bought a PS3. Now I own both consoles, yes I still prefer one over the other but thats hardly unnatural.

Not comprehensive, and not of the 80GB one, which has a lack of features compared to earlier released PS3's.
And RedNome found it helpful, so therefore this thread can be considered a raving success.

I have owned both consoles, and currently own a PS3. I owned a 360 before I started posting on here, and replaced it with a PS3 before I started posting on here aswell.
